Buy the RTD and the credits from ZFG. Once everything arrives, install the app on your phone, create an HP tuners account, and select ZFG as your tuner. Then plug the RTD into your OBD port, sync it with the app, read your stock tune, and upload it. After that, submit a tune request on ZFG’s website to let them know your stock file has been sent.

ZFG will send you a base tune. Reconnect, load it, and perform the pulls they ask for while datalogging through the app. Upload the logs and submit the follow-up request. You’ll repeat this process a few times until they finish dialing in your tune. It’s much more customized than an off-the-shelf tune, and the RTD + app make the process very user-friendly. ZFG also has detailed instructions on their website. I did everything with my phone, no laptop.

When you order the RTD and credits, you’ll choose your tune type (Race, Performance, Daily Driver, or Tow). Think of Race as full send; each option lower is roughly a 20% step down. The Tow tune is designed to protect the vehicle while towing—do not tow on any of the other tunes.
Thanks so much for your response I will look into this, how many credits covers the whole process?

Its way easier than it seems. I have done this stuff plenty of times before, but the RTD4 and App work very well, and Adam is quick.

The ONLY thing that sucks is the data logging. You have to set it to log, wait for it to start, and then do the run he needs. It takes way too long for the service to start, but it is what it is.

So will the cost of the package for $929 cover enough credits to cover the whole process...? I have to buy tires for my DarkHorse HP because Ford ships with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires that are basically BRICKS in 40 degree or below weather VERY DANGEROUS. Soon as I pay for the new tires this will be my next project

Yep, you get that package with 4 credits, I think, and you are good. The driver mode tune thing may be more, but I just got the Performance tune and rolled with it.

My 2021 GT Premium came with Goodyears, and they sucked! Almost killed me in the rain twice. I went with Conti Extreme Contacts. But you still have to be careful with those in freezing temps, but rain is more a problem for me.
