Is anyone running into this issue? The Navigation screen on my 2020 Explorer shows half blank.

The screen works fine, shows things on the other menus - just get a white screen when on navigation screen. Also, on the home screen, no navigations maps show up - a blank white screen as well.

Took it to the dealer yesterday, and they were stumped??

Thanks!

Sync 3.4 22251 strikes again...
I believe hbalek has the same issue.

It's likely the same issues many of us had with Sync 3.4 version 22251. Look at this link and scroll to the symptoms list:

Someone reported that a new Sync version to correct this may bow in around September.

Yup this is one of many issues with this system for months now. Oddly, once a week or so lately I get a full map then next time it's back to bottom half of screen! The Sirius Travelink weather radar map also only shows bottom half of screen.

Thanks for the replies ! At least it's nice to know I'm not alone in this issue.

I can "live" without the map for now, so I'm going to hold off on doing the major fixes above, since it seems like a LOT of work, and the issue will come back.

I lucked out. The 2021 I just picked up has 21098 installed. I've got updates turned off and I'm just going to let it ride until the new update comes out to see how it does before I do anything.

I bet the people with new APIM will eventually have the same issues if they are using the same version of Sync 22251. I read somewhere that Ford won't allow dealers to install previous versions which are allegedly problem-free.

It’s crazy to me that we aren’t able to go back to 22250, I’ve been told first of July, middle of July and October for the new update to remedy this disaster. Nice to know I’m paying for an ST but driving a base model with all the issues caused by 22251.

Have you updated your SYNC to 23188?

I updated after seeing your post so I will let you know. Thanks Dale for the suggestion.
Please do. Mine is beyond ridiculous at this point. Besides not having a full map, my entire screen will just be blank half the time. If I go into reverse, the top 1/3 of the screen will be blue gray until 25 mph then turn gray. Yep. That weird. Wi-Fi doesn’t work, Bluetooth won’t connect at startup, can’t turn radio off, and the list keeps growing. IMG_1899.jpeg IMG_2308.jpeg
