    Tinted ST pictures

Matched front to back and 20% in windshield. Also tinted sunroof for heat rejection. Can’t tell the windshield is tinted at all and I’ve never had a problem in 30 years tinting the windshield. These days you get 95% heat rejection even with clear. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Transmission temp 195 F

That sounds about right for normal driving. If you start unlocking the torque converter in stop and go or towing you can get the temp to climb over 200. When I change trans fluid I put the trans in drive, hold the brake, and let it run at 1500-2000 rpm and the trans gets up to 195-200 in about 5...

    10r60 transmission pan upgrade

I have not noticed any cooler trans temps with my PPE pan. It increases capacity which is the primary reason I installed it. I’m guessing it helps on a hot day but in normal temps and normal driving I never saw a change in temp. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    How to clean/treat dashboard?

Another 303 fanboy here. Been using that shit on everything. Car plastics? Patio furniture, awning, anything outside. Excellent UV rejection properties and not shiny. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New rotor / brake pad break in

That contact patch looks awfully small on the rotor. Since bedding is critical to brake performance and longevity I would consider doing it again. You can clean the rotors by doing several high speed braking events back to back. I usually do three 80-20 hard braking events back to back. You...

    Trans. dip stick

Looking above the dipstick I could see no room for a tube. I put a PPE pan with a drain. I drain and measure how much came out and put the same in and save the hassle of the dipstick next to the hot exhaust. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Check engine light

Downstream sensors are used for cat efficiency. Guessing that is where your problem is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Non street pack tire width

Look at the tire you are considering. It should have a spec on the rim sizes it fits. Not a big change though imo, Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Downpipes

V8’s exclusively until my ST. Love the power you can get out of this V6 reasonably easily. The awd is great for launching. My Ctsv had 700rwhp but you just plain couldn’t keep the tires from spinning unless you went with drag radials. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Downpipes

Exhaust is so subjective. 30 years ago the DPs and Thermal would have been perfect for me. Now it’s just a tad loud. I love the sound when I romp on it but it’s a tad loud for driving around town for me. I have a couple Vibrant resonators to weld in one of these days to see if that calms it down...

    Downpipes

Pretty thorough covering there. Much better than the oem. I’m guessing a coating is marginally better but not by a lot. Coating was not cheap. If those are almost as good and a lot cheaper then it seems like a good option imo. I know the ceramic tends to keep the heat in the exhaust stream...

    Downpipes

I believe a good ceramic coating is better than a heat shield. Covers 100% of the outside. Heat shield definitely better than nothing but I think ceramic is better at heat rejection. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Downpipes

In my mind, yes. Anything to help with heat management imo. Helps keep the heat away from motor. And no defoulers needed on the SPD downpipes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Downpipes

I agree I would not worry about the flex pipes for now.I installed a Thermal 2.5 before the downpipes. Eventually got around to Installing the SPD downpipes and I had them ceramic coated for heat. Installing them with the Thermal produced a tad more growl and I like the sound better than just...
