    SPD downpipes

    Any of the aftermarket downpipes will bolt up to the oem mid-pipes. They “should” bolt up to aftermarket exhausts but nobody is gonna guarantee that…it’s on the end user to mix and match aftermarket parts.

    The Nav gets rid of everything including the oem amp so you get rid of all the oem tuning and the issues it brings to the table. Any of the LCxi things are pretty much just fancy line level converters…if you have to tap a speaker wire for signal you’re bringing the oem tuning into the equation...

    It’s by far the best interface on the market for these cars. It plugs into all the oem wiring then you have either RCA or Optical out to your dsp or amps. I run optical into a Helix Ultra for now…I’ll be swapping to a Brax dsp after Finals this year. That one is gonna sting a little bit. lol

    You can’t go directly from the “stereo” to the amp. You will need an interface of some sort…could be as simple as an Audio Control LC2i or the best money can buy is the NAV TV Zen A2B.

    Probably because their stuff is known for an extremely high noise floor so nobody wants to have people talk bad about their tuning when it’s an equipment issue. Play a zero bit track at full volume…if you hear anything at all especially in your tweeters…you have noise floor issues.

    Had a pretty good day competing today.

    Been doing lots of fine tuning and tweaking…it’s starting to pay off. 1st in EMMA Master Unlimited 2nd by only 1 point in IASCA Amateur. It’s sounding pretty damn good right now.

    The ST is better in every way. There’s no comparison at all to the 5th Gen.

    Expect the new Android OS for media and maybe some updates to the gauge cluster and hopefully a decent refresh on the front and rear fascia. No body changes and any power increase would be a typical small, incremental thing they can throw in to make people think they’re getting something...

    H&R springs and a rear bar upgrade are all you need. Strut bars won’t change anything on this particular car.

    I took the badge off and put a matte black vinyl inlay in its place since it has that weird spot in the grille. Made it kind of a ghost emblem and only cost a few bucks.
