    New aFe strut tower brace

Perhaps you should read this whole thread then. After that go look at your car and look under the cowl panels. All strut bars for this car are cosmetic….thats all there is to it.

    New aFe strut tower brace

It only serves a cosmetic purpose

    Transmission temp 195 F

There’s the OBD plug, dimmer wire and a couple of 5V analog inputs. There’s no way to hard wire into the car to read PID’s. You can read add-on sensors….I read an ethanol content sensor on one of mine. You still have to plug the gauge either into the OBD port or a splitter to read PID’s.

    Transmission temp 195 F

You hard wired a P3 gauge into the OBD port to read PID’s? Post pics.

    10r60 transmission pan upgrade

Here’s reality and you can choose to look deeper or not…but on no planet did you lower trans temps 30-40° with a pan swap. It’s literally not possible. I’m not gonna debate it all night…it is what it is.

    Transmission temp 195 F

I wouldn’t trust running a P3 and an OBD reader on a splitter. These pans have been discussed ad nauseam in my high performance FB group. Coolant t-stat is factory 180° so if you’re seeing temps under that and low trans temps…I’d question it. That’s not even getting into the well documented...

    Transmission temp 195 F

I see you bought into all the literature, but that’s not how it works. Feel free to ask anyone else running one of these deep aluminum pans what their trans temp is doing.

    Transmission temp 195 F

It may take longer to get up to operating temp with a deep pan, but it cannot possibly run cooler when the transmission is thermostatically controlled

    10r60 transmission pan upgrade

Can you tell us please, how the pan dropped the transmission temps when that is controlled by a thermostat?

    PIU struts/shocks

The 3rd row seat frame acts as a structural member. The PIU loses that seat so they replace it with the cross brace that bolts into the same spots as the 3rd row and a couple of other spots further forward. It does increase the rear impact protection.

    PIU struts/shocks

The “structural reinforcement” is the cross brace that takes place of the 3rd row seat and all of its accompanying trim. The seat weighs more than the brace.

    PIU struts/shocks

Go take it apart and measure then. Or…just measure axle center to fender on both. And no…I’m not scrolling through years of a FB group to hunt something down. There’s also no proof the PIU shocks and struts are more dampened than the ST versions. There’s talk…and rumors…but there’s no actual...

Almost time to replace 21" Pirellis any recommendation?

The Lexani’s are also well regarded. They’re made in the same factory as Lionhart…I’d bet money they’re the same carcass but that’s just a guess.

Almost time to replace 21" Pirellis any recommendation?

They’re super popular and I don’t think I’ve read a bad review from anyone yet. Just a bunch of people the run and like them and a bunch of people that trash talk them because they’re inexpensive. I came from a $2700 set of Pirellis that lasted 15K miles…$600 a set and lasts 3X as long is a no...

Almost time to replace 21" Pirellis any recommendation?

On my second set of Lionhart LH-Five’s and will buy a 3rd when I wear these out. Don’t let the name or the price fool ya…there’s a reason these tires have such a huge following online. I’d go with a 295/40/21 and fill out that wheel well more. That size tire fits the factory 21 great.

    PIU struts/shocks

A great deal of that is weight related. Someone a while back measured two new cars and it was basically the same from the axle center fender.

    Audio system prep...sound deadening project.

$12K wouldn’t cover the front speakers and fab work if a shop recreated my install….unfortunately. It’s stupid expensive.

Yes, CLD and Thinsulate from the pano roof back.
