Focal, Mosconi, Illusion and Helix build

I'll say this....although I'm deaf in one ear and wouldn't appreciate the acoustics, your attention to detail and workmanship are top notch!

    SCT X4 Tuning!

Or, you could go back to the stock resonator (I assume it still fits?) But, try the Borla first, if it's still too loud....

For those thinking about a "performance" exhaust system

It doesn't make any assumption about the cats. If you use a higher flow cat, you are (hopefully) reducing the velocity loss after the turbine which would be a plus. But put another way, I'd replace the cats before I'd replace the stock exhaust.

For those thinking about a "performance" exhaust system

So what might work for the ST? Now I'm a DIYer, and have no problem with a loud exhaust at full song, but I have no need to wake the neighbors or alert the bulls when I'm normally driving. I have a suggestion for those that are looking for a DIY low-cost hi-performance system for the ST...

For those thinking about a "performance" exhaust system

For the last year and a half on this site, I've seen scores of posts on performance exhaust systems. I don't normally post from a soapbox about these things, but as I've posted several times in a number of threads about this particular item, if you'll bear with me, I'll try to put my thoughts...

    SCT X4 Tuning!

We know how it works @Ford Guy . You're not understanding. You have installed a loud exhaust. The only possibility of a valve managed system would be to route the exhaust to a quieter system. You don't have a quieter pathway. Unless routing the exhaust through a single side would somehow...

    SCT X4 Tuning!

No "dump" valve is going to help you out. If it's now too loud, keep your downpipes and reinstall the factory exhaust! Seriously, you wanted it louder, now it's too loud. I've posted again and again, adding any of these custom exhausts is not going to significantly affect horsepower at 500 or...

    Thule cargo box

I hear you on that. A couple of weeks ago, I took my daughter, son-in-law and three grandkids all to Universal Studios. We were packed, but managed to fit everything inside. On the way down, I noticed several suvs traveling with tow hitch mounted racks. That looked very interesting. Anyone...

Who Has Downpipes + Thermal Exhaust ??

Are you throwing any codes due to the Fenfab cats? Did it come with defoulers or did you add them?

$2000? I bet you would! Another poster has the same setup with approx the same mileage for $550. Just FYI

    2021 ST BOV

Oh, and in case you're wondering why this hasn't been done before, I'd suggest it's probably a patent issue for whoever first described the solution. As soon as the patent cost fell below the cost to procure and install the BOV, the change was effected.

    2021 ST BOV

You can easily eliminate the problem with ECU programming. In the past you're WOT and let off the throttle suddenly- what happens is a big buildup in pressure between the compressor outlet and the closed throttle valve. With a blowoff valve, this extra pressure is vented into atmosphere or...

Yep, 21s and big red brake calipers, you are set with the good brakes.

    Whipple intercooler

Well, that video is entertaining; like most of the mighty mods videos, but as far as it being an answer...it is NOT. 99% of the cooling of the intercooler is done by the fins between the compressed air channels, and the effectiveness of the intercooler is all about the surface area of those...

    Great to be here

I'm completely in agreement with @GearHead_1. Obviously you have had a major problem, but your ignorance (don't take that wrong) of the terminology doesn't give any of us who could advise you any sense of what went wrong. Like others on the forum, I'm left to try and guess what the problem...

    New ST, brake pedal noise?

That's a very interesting observation about the vehicle perhaps you are right. However, I did try this and it didn't have any effect. I still have no 'click' when I use the brakes.

    New ST, brake pedal noise?

I don't have this problem with my 2020, but I also have disabled reverse brake assist. If you disable it, does it still make the 'click' noise?
