    Thermal 2.5 and P2096?

No offense taken. I am puzzled as to why a change of exhaust would cause the CEL. I feel like it could be a flow/backpressure issue. IF there is a leak upstream of the O2 sensor, could the free flowing exhaust have allowed fresh air into the system to cause the code whereas the slightly more...

    Thermal 2.5 and P2096?

UPDATE: P2096 is cleared! ALL last week the code was Pending, active and permanent. Put the stock exhaust back on without changing anything and the pending code went away on the ride to work on the 11th. Cleared the active code on my lunch and the permanent code cleared on the way home. No...

    Thermal 2.5 and P2096?

I also took the downpipes down and put them back up. Hopefully something will fix the issue. I will drive it a few days and recheck the bolts holding the downpipe to the turbo. Will update either way. Who knows, it may need O2 spacers and/or sensors.

    Thermal 2.5 and P2096?

Hopefully it is the connection from the midpipe to downpipe. The clamp pictured wouldn't go any tighter. I could still twist the pipe if I loosened the connection on the other end. I happened to have some of the older U-bolt style on the shelf. Hopefully connections have been fixed and no...

    Thermal 2.5 and P2096?

It's still an issue. I clear the code in the morning and it pops up on the way home. I'm going to slide back under it this weekend to look for leaks around the downpipes. I don't think it's actually running lean since the exhaust pops when I'm coasting and I believe that takes more fuel.

    new recall?

It looks like both of you are correct on what he has. His post shows an XLT with the 2.3 and an ST. Possible OP didn't verify the VIN for the letter and it could be for his 2.3

    Thermal 2.5 and P2096?

Only mods currently are SPD Downpipes and a Thermal R&D system. Wondering if it is coincidence or if the addition of a Thermal R&D 2.5 inch system could have caused code P2096. Installed a Thermal R&D 2.5 exhaust and changed the air filter on Saturday. Today (Tuesday) code P2096 popped up on...

    Coolant temperature?

It looks like just below halfway on both. Scale and positioning of the symbol can skew the appearance. My crude measurement also shows just below halfway on both.

    Factory Boost

I believe the owners manual says 18 is max boost. Edit: Page 386 does show 18 PSI max. Newer manuals may have changed. This is from the 3rd printing version.

    Ford Performance Tune

Hit the menu button on the steering wheel. First option sounds be screen selection. Auto start stop is the last choice. Check it and back out. Then scroll to it.

    Ford Performance Tune

I would guess that it may not have had a battery maintainer/ charger while tuning so the auto start stop will not work until battery level increases enough. You can add the auto start stop status to the instrument cluster and it'll tell you why it isn't working. I usually see 4 different...

    Fuel octane

FINALLY! Ford Performance Explorer Calibrations for the 2023 model year are LIVE!!

Probably referring to the fact that up until recently, the calibration didn't include most of the 2023 models. So @JakeLethal was likely just informing everyone that the 2023 is now supported in addition to the 2020-2022
