Coolant temperature?

Got home from a 400 mile day trip. Sitting in my driveway, vehicle in Park, look at the apparent difference in temperature displayed between Eco and Sport mode. Anyone noticed this?

It looks like just below halfway on both. Scale and positioning of the symbol can skew the appearance. My crude measurement also shows just below halfway on both.
