    Anyone upgrade their Turbo Yet?

It really doesn't matter if it's one or two turbochargers. There is a perception that two turbos will "spool faster" than a single turbo. That just not the reality. A single turbo- sized appropriately will spool just as quickly. Now, I'm really not defending costs associated with moving to a...

    Cold Air Intake status?

For about $700 you can get a tune. Best bang for the buck. Just bolting on a CAI or exhaust isn't going to make a lot of difference.

    Anyone upgrade their Turbo Yet?

You're right, I'm estimating, but my point is bang for the buck. If you look at it that way, there's just not enough upgrade for the amount of price in those turbos. Because you're using stock housings, there just isn't any way to upgrade them beyond that. I can't even imagine the EGTs, let...

    Anyone upgrade their Turbo Yet?

I'm probably going to take a lot of heat for this post, but....here goes. You can get a tune for about $700. This will put you into the mid to hi 12s on 93 completely stock (ask @LokiWolf). For about the same you can get into the low 12s on an e50 blend for the same price. That is bang for...

    Good clean humor and jokes

Ok, now that I remember it was Iodine. And for those who didn't grow up on a farm, that same day I got to see my Grandmother covered in blood whacking the heads off chickens for Sunday's dinner after church. Chased one of them through the cornfield for half a mile...with no head.

Only 'cuz your aunt Joline didn't pour the whole bottle on your foot after you stepped on a nail in the chicken coop!

Believe it or not, I still have a commemorative six pack from Hudepohl which celebrated the Bengals loss in the Superbowl.

FS Street Pack brakes. Houston only.

Thanks for clearing that up. You're right, I was going from memory which was flawed. The difference was the wheel size, not the mounting points.

FS Street Pack brakes. Houston only.

I'm not sure, but can you even mount the Street/Performance pack brakes onto the Base mounting points? I may be completely wrong on this, but from the Racing Brake posts, I'm not sure they're interchangeable.

I used to live in Montgomery on the north east side, circa 1984 when Cincy still had a decent football team. Just wondering if the Montgomery ribs place is still there?

I’m beginning to think it’s me with the issue

That seems rather extreme! Going back in history, you had rural areas- who was going to service the product when it failed?Where were the parts coming from- the Sears catalog? So a franchise model allowed the manufacturer to continue to sell to dealers during economic slumps- avoiding large...

    Ford Explorer ST Experience

By the way, if you do go to Asheville, you really should take in the Vanderbilt Mansion- it's fabulous. Also, tack on the $25 (or so) to purchase the "Architect's tour". You get to see a ton of rooms that you won't see in the regular walking tour, plus you get to see the attic construction...

    Shut down, everything stays on.

I haven't ever updated Sync. Everything "seems" to be back to normal. I have no idea- suppose it is some type of glitch. Might be a problem with the light switch, will update as I investigate. Thanks for the ideas and help.

    Shut down, everything stays on.

So, I've had my ST for 14 months, not a single problem....until today. Ran out to pick up some Chipotle. Everything fine until I get home. I have a basic shutdown technique, pull the parking brake (I'm on a hill), turn off engine. The car starts ding-ding-ding. No notifications other than a...

Explorer ST Wheel Size, Bolt Pattern, Offset & Tire Information

I just wanted to make sure as some of the wheel options on certain vendor sites do show +35 offsets for certain wheels, which would, I think fit our STs. If you try to find ST wheels, most sites don't even have it as an option.
