    Active leak

I does look more greasy than oily.

    Active leak

    Gear oil isn’t red.

    Active leak

I have too but everything was covered. This is only on the subframe…not the diff, axles, exhaust or anything else you can see. Migrating that far and only being on the subframe doesn’t seem likely.

    Active leak

That’s the rear subframe. Hard to see trans fluid migrating that far.

    Active leak

That’s an interesting one. Gear oil isn’t red and there’s nothing on the diff cover. It’s almost like it’s something residual that got splashed onto the subframe. I’d clean it off with a few cans of brake cleaner and watch it for a while to see if something returns.

    Transmission Fluid Dipstick Option?

I’m succinct and to the point.

    Transmission Fluid Dipstick Option?

Pretty simple…there’s not enough room. So it…won’t fit.

is there a metal oil pan available for this motor?

Plastic pans are fine…that post is also 3 1/2 years old. And yes, your post was shitty and you know it. You just didn’t expect anyone to say anything about it.

is there a metal oil pan available for this motor?

You’re the one that came in with a shitty comment about the only shop owner that’s given the ST crowd everything they’ve asked for since day 1. Yea…I have his back. So does everyone else and if you’re around long enough you’ll see why. But if it’s just sheets of metal welded together by all...

    Front door speaker replacement question

The stock 6x9 is a midbass in the 14 speaker version. The midrange and tweeter are higher in the door.

    Front door speaker replacement question

Still missing your point. Are you saying the doors should or should not be playing low bass?
  13. UNBROKEN

    Front door speaker replacement question

Not understanding you saying the front doors not having any appreciable low bass and that should not be a goal?

Considering 2025 ST but concerned with reliability

Stop reading the Internet and go buy the car you want. Every manufacturer has issues but the only thing you’re going to find online is people bitching. People that have no issues generally don’t talk about it.

is there a metal oil pan available for this motor?

You’re comparing a low cost to build cast trans pan to a labor intensive hand fabricated oil pan that Brett not only machines, cuts, bends and welds every piece of in house but also took on all of the development costs. Of course his part costs more and rightfully so.

    Front door speaker replacement question

The main front speakers serve as midbass and have all other frequencies cut. You can bolt in whatever you want…only the passband will play.

    Stealth Subwoofer Box

Running the stock sub with an aftermarket sub is a great way to get phase issues and cancel out frequencies. Unless you did some RTA work to verify what’s going on it’s a bad idea in general.

    Tuning

Correct. Which is why I don’t have a DMS tune. My 93 tune is on E30 unless I’m on a road trip and E50 is the big tune. I have never had a need or reason to have a lower power tune on a switch. I switch with my right foot.
