Figured it out. In step 3, it says to search for “Approach Detection”, but step 4 says Global Close. I was doing multiple FORScan changes at the same time, including “Approach Detection”, so I didn't even notice the difference. When I searched for "Global" instead, I found all the settings...

...nothing to loose, I would watch a few YouTube videos then try to disassemble and repair it. You can also buy and install a used assembly and use Forscan to cal the camera. A new unit from ford is about 1/2 that price, not too difficult to install. Another option would be a auto body repair shop.

I would start by going back to factory BCM flash even though it’s been over a year Electrical sucks and 1/2 the time the fix will be something that doesn’t make sense or is literally powering off and back on
