Well, I have to report that after driving the car around, the stupid FENG is there, that setting did not get rid of it in my car. It's deceiving because you don't realize that it's there until it's gone. But after spending some decent seat time in the car, it's very clear to me that the setting changed did not remove that fake engine sound in my car. So I guess I'm back to the drawing board for waiting for someone else to discover the right combination to change the settings to. Thanks for the info and try but that propulsion sound is not the FENG, at least not in my car. It's very clearly there.
Have had a few people try this, a lot still had FENG still there even with the Propulsion change via FORScan. The issue is that the strategy--Ford somehow combined the FENG and ACM (Active Noise Control) which blocks out the exterior noise when you drive. It's complicated buts till working on it (I'm currently on vacation till August 2).

Thank you for continuing to press on and try to figure this out. Very eager to get this sound to go away. Thanks again for all of the discovery you are doing and looking forward to the tweak to make the FENG disappear for good. Thanks!

Interesting. I’ve been driving mine since and I don’t hear anything. No change in sport mode either.

Honestly I feel like at first, I was just excited the car didn't freak out again and I fooled myself into thinking it was gone... but the car sat for a couple days and when I spent some more time driving it, it's clear that it's still there and I was just lying to myself, lol.

Job 3 here. Disabled propulsion sound settings and it indeed disabled FENG. It appears to have also disabled ANC. Not a problem for me as I plan to add a subwoofer and would need to disable ANC anyways. All the sound now coming from the rear / thermal exhaust in any mode (eco, sport, normal)

Hey guys

quick question, I used forscan to adjust the settings for
1. Amber drls + turn off white strip (livinup sheet row 8 9)
2. bambi mode ( row 12)
3. approach lighting ( row 26)

However, after saving each setting and cycling the car on/off after each change + waiting overnight, it appears that none of these settings worked!

I have done Forscan adjustments to around 10 other vehicles from 2020 to 2024 and it worked every time so I am indeed puzzled about what is stopping these adjustments to take hold

On another note, I was looking for the Auto start stop setting in the module and could not find it. However, after doing the adjustments above it now appears that my auto start stop has miraculously been disabled through no action of my own.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

With how different these builds can be (job 1 - 3) and with how buggy they have proven to be, I would recommend putting the settings. back (restoring your backed up files). If you want, perhaps it would be a good idea to wait a little bit with the car sitting and even pull the battery cable off the car to let all of the residual charge drain and fully "reboot" all of the modules. Then maybe try again. I noticed some odd behavior as well when I was trying some of the codes and it did not work as intended. For now, I'd recommend putting it all back and trying again after a fresh battery pull, but that's my $.02. Good luck!
