Purchased the Velgen VF9’s with Toyo Proxes STiii’s 305/40/22 and absolutely zero rubbing!

Here’s my issue. The 4wd Fault Service Required popped up on the dash and started throwing codes. I went to Ford and they said it’s because the overall diameter is larger and there is nothing they can do to reset it. I went in to Forscan and changed the tire circumference but the 4wd service won’t clear. Anyone dealt with this and has a fix?

Are you lowered? Thinking of doing the same setup but the VF5 wheels with steeda springs

Has anyone had an issue updating the circumference in an early 2021 for size 295-40 R22 in the ecu? My local dealership is saying there is a 50/50 chance of being able to update it due to it being and earlier model. I'm getting ready to order the tires and want to make sure it can be updated.

I used forscan to change mine. Can’t remember what I did but it’s a 22.

I haven't tried it yet but here's some info: https://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15994

I ran 305/35/22 then switched to 295/40/22 with zero issues. 2020 C build.
Were you able to update the circumference in the ecu when you switched to the larger size on your 2020? My local dealership is saying on my 2021 it's a50/50 chance of being able to update it. I'd like to know before buying the tires

Why do you even want to change it?

The way I understand it going to a taller tire will affect the speedometer and odometer. Is this not correct
I’ve had several different tire sizes on my car and the speedo has always been spot on to gps no matter what. I’ve seen virtually nobody change this and the OP’s issue was absolutely not from running a larger OD tire.
