Funny you post that again. I saw two brand new PIUs coming the other direction today and noticed that they either have a different intercooler than we do or they also have the slats removed like you did. I could see a big rectangle behind the grille. Not something you can see normally on the ST.

Neither??? Adam @ZFGracing is probably the most active on this board and seems the most knowledgable for tuning YOUR vehicle rather than just running an out-of-the-box tune. He is also responsible for the current fastest ST we have seen.

yup. the pics are deceiving, but the bolt is nowhere near the spring in any position.

i only ran it in the firmest setting for a couple of hours while i was testing. but during that time i was pushing HARD, trying to get the truck to oversteer. when i crawled under to swap back to the middle hole, i didn't notice any nicks or scratches on the springs or the tip of the bar.

For those interested, here is some pics of clearance with the Steeda springs. As you can see there is loads of room. No contact. I was in the first batch of bars as well, fyi.

the solution is the various catch cans that are available for direct injected engines. the carbon buildup comes from oil vapor that is recirculated back into the intake. a catch can condenses that oil vapor and deposits it somewhere else.

Do you mean ZERO mods, or just without a tune? There are several people on here with Whipples that haven't tuned the truck yet. Why do you ask?
