NGK Plug change, and don't go to Ford to have it done.

Interesting question for tech/service writers. If they quote the job with labor/cost associated with draining the coolant, and the tech just moves the lines to the side, do they still bill for that service even if they don't do it?

    Heat Fan Blower Motor Location

I have 34k now, but it started to become noisy right around 20k miles. I just lived with it by turning the AC or radio up to block out the sound. Fortunately it seems like an easy repair. 3 bolts and it’s out from below so no disassembly of the entire dash. for those out of warranty, it...

    Heat Fan Blower Motor Location

Just to update. Brought it in for warranty and the dealer replaced the blower motor for me. Silent once again

How-To: Creating your own ST Lighted Cup Holder Harness

Often times, with data control wiring, the ground wire needs to be sourced from the same module as the control circuit if the ground is isolated from main vehicle grounding I have no idea if this is this case here but something to keep in mind if you continue to not be able to get it to work

    ST Line logo in grill

I think the owner performed that mod. I parked next to an '25+ ST-line today at the mall and there was nothing in the grill. Best way i've found to spot them is the little STline badges on the fenders ahead of the mirrors. For 2025+, the larger ST specific brakes are now an option on the...

What’s everyone getting for fuel economy?

Right now based on the last 2-3K miles of driving the vehicle is showing an average fuel economy of 19.6 MPG. 91-93 octane (depending on what the station has) This car is just daily transportation to me. Lots of time idling in school drop-off and traffic. Mix of normal, eco and sport mode...

    Rear ford emblem removal

I bought the Timberline ones for $115. They were the style I wanted that was just a standard Ford oval but with a black background instead. Haven't installed yet due to winter. I figure i'd have an easier time with removing the rear if i wait until a nice warm day.

How-To: Creating your own ST Lighted Cup Holder Harness

Ah you are right. Not sure why I missed that. In fact now that gives me another idea for how I can wire this up. (y)

How-To: Creating your own ST Lighted Cup Holder Harness

It’s not power and ground. It’s a RGB type LED that requires 3-wires and needs to tap into the existing ambient lighting system. That’s how it’s designed so you can cycle through the various optional colors

How-To: Creating your own ST Lighted Cup Holder Harness

I haven't done anything with it yet. I've purchased the cupholder and LED lighting, but stopped at making the harness due to the ridiculous pricing of the connectors to make a plug-and-play type harness with the original ford style connectors. I wanted to just unplug a factory connection and...

    Excessive bounce

So it's a rhythmic bounce/oscillation? Or a bump induced bounce?

What is the realistic price of mods when selling.

I would demod as much as you reasonably can. Understandably some will be a giant PITA. For me as a buyer, if there were two vehicles in the same spec, same miles and condition, but one was stock and one was modded....I would buy the stock one. Other will have a different opinion.

Merry F'in Christmas! Some People Suck!

How low does one need to be to steal muffler tips??

Anyone else get parking lot speed Transmission clunk on their ST?

I get a clunk/thud every once in a while when i move back/forth in gear. I *think* it's fuel in the fuel tank as it has that dull hollow sound.

Per Ford, No future upgrades to Bluecruise

I thought 2025 did that as well? I seem to recall when i was test driving a few the salesman mentioned it would change lanes on it's own. We never tried it though.

    Catch Can Worth It?

I've had a J&L on mine for about 12K miles now. Haven't really seen a lot of junk. I check every ~2-3K miles and get a teaspoon of clean oil out of it. I know i might see some condensation in the winter, but I really haven't. Feb update edit: now I see lots of oil/condensation junk with...

Replaced the Front Grill Ford Emblem on a 2025 ST

I love this style oval. Wish these came OEM on the ST I need to find one for the steering wheel now. Black background, but same chrome outline and Ford script.

Gloss black control bezel upgrade for 2020

Sorry, i didn't mean to cause any alarm. The matte black buttons look fine with the gloss bezel. Don’t worry about it at all. I was just pointing out the minor difference exists just for information. Gloss on top, matte on bottom. I swapped the HVAC controls out with 2020 units to get...
