    CLOSED: 2025 Ford ST-Line - Inspection Problem?

If it's anything like my state inspection they connect the machine into the OBD2 port which looks for Powertrain DTC's and checks to see if the emissions monitors are complete. That's why i asked if a standard OBD2 code reader would connect as many have a "state OBD check" function that will...

    CLOSED: 2025 Ford ST-Line - Inspection Problem?

Can you hook a standard OBD2 reader to it?

    2026 Order banks open!

No more 3.0L on the platinum? That's an interesting decision there. So essentially Ford killed off the Limited trim level by creating an available 2.3L Platinum trim, and then just killed off the 3.0 Plat? Also one of the articles i read mentioned different available wheels. Interested to...

2026 Ford Explorer Replaces Vista Roof With Fixed Glass Option

Honestly, given the amount of sunroof leaks and/or wind noise complaints, it's probably a good decision. I'd bet they were getting a ton of (extended) warranty claims on sunroof leak issues and someone ran it up the flagpole to see if they could make this change. I actually think it's a good...

81 days at dealer for our 21 ExpST... Well crap, it needs to go back.

That's disappointing, but not entirely unheard of. I've had similar experiences with other brand vehicles. I hate to say it, but I echo my statement in post #13.

    P0128 Thermostat Stuck Open

Figured as much. Im still under warranty, but I might tackle this myself vs deal with dealer and not having the vehicle for a few days

    P0128 Thermostat Stuck Open

did you ever solve this? Same issue. P0128 was pending and stupid me cleared the code by mistake. Now waiting for it to come back but seeing temps in the 172-176 range on a 90 degree humid day. Seems a little too cool. In my mind it should be 190-200 degrees. Coolant level fine.

    2026 Ford Explorer Tremor

well that’s an interesting move. I wonder the reasoning behind that? Looks like ‘26 ST gets bench seat and additional wheel options? Curious to see what those are

    2026 Ford Explorer Tremor

I kinda agree. At least when the ST debuted for the '20 model year, Ford detuned the Platinum slightly so there was a performance incentive to get the ST in the explorer lineup Now you can get a 3.0tt in several different trims of explorer and aviator at 400HP, as well as in the Bronco and...

Let's see those roof racks and cargo boxes (Thule)!

I ended up doing exactly that yesterday. I moved the rear crossbar back and slide the box back a bit to where it looks a bit more balanced.

    2026 Ford Explorer Tremor

    2026 Ford Explorer Tremor

But they already do. Maverick LOBO is already on the Ford Website for US market and F150 is coming in the fall according to all the articles that dropped in the last week.

Did Standard ST brake conversion to PIU Brakes

Master Cylinder So if the piston sizes increase, without any correlating master cylinder bore diameter increase, then the pedal stroke would have to increase and feel would have to be a little bit softer. That's just the nature of hydraulic systems Is it enough to notice? Probably not given...

    2026 Ford Explorer Tremor

Not my cup of tea, but nothing wrong with it. I just prefer more street performance. Looks like Ford is consolidating/standardizing their product trim levels. Timberline replace with Tremor which aligns with other models. This has me thinking about what the future is for the Explorer ST...

    Car Covers

I've found outdoor covers do more damage than help. They may protect against the elements, but if it's windy and they move and shift it creates rub marks at the high spots. It's more of a long term issue, and probably more severe if you haven't done anything to protect your paintlike PPF or...
