Mine didn’t have that tab for the harness to snap into, it just used a hole in the core support. I made a new hold somewhere underneath and tucked it out of the way.
The trim just snaps on…super easy to pull while the bezel is off…but I actually found new pieces that are smooth to wrap piano black so the fake texture didn’t show through. No idea what model they’re from…I stumbled across them on eBay.
You can make all the snarky posts you want, doesn’t change anything. I know we live in a world where nobody admits, they are wrong, but you’re wrong. You could just say “OK I messed up“
It’s not “whatever you say”…it’s how it happened. I’ve been building these since they came out…back when we were just hoping the aftermarket would start supporting them. Thermal was not before Borla…that’s just a fact.
Don’t ask google shit it doesn’t know. Borla was way before Thermal. I had my own 3” system completed in Nov 2020, well before Thermal and well after Borla came to market. Borla being the only option is why I built my own 3” back then. The Thermal 3” came almost 2 years later.
Some, not all 305/40/22’s will rub if you’re on drop springs with a +30 10.5 wheel. No matter what the tire size says, not all tires on a given size are actually the same. Some run wider and will rub. If you’re dropped, 305/35 is where you wanna be.
The specs are what they are. Whoever you talked to an element, just didn’t know what the **** they were talking about. The Velgen wheels you bought are the exact same specs.
