    It’s just reality…an IC and a cut grille didn’t lower the ET over 1/2 a second on your car…or any car. Period. you being all in your feelings about it is irrelevant. It’s simply not possible.

    Now it’s even funnier because you damn sure didn’t knock off 1/2 a second with an IC and cut up grille on a 2.3 with a stock tune. I don’t really care who you say you’re working with…it doesn’t matter to me in the least. Last…”may” outrun you? lol….OK.

    Adding the IC didn’t knock off a 1/2 second either. The factory IC is good through a full 1/4 mile pass…it just can’t do it twice. I live in coastal Texas and have been running the high performance group for these cars since they came out. You won’t show me anything I haven’t done or seen already.

    Check with ID Speed. CPe engineered and initially sold them as an exclusive through ID Speed. Whoosh is listing them as CPe so maybe Eric at ID has some in stock.

    If you want to change the front of a car…you add a rear bar and vice versa. A tighter rear bar adds front grip.

We’ve been modding these cars since the day they came out…you didn’t reinvent the wheel here…you’re just the latest guy to think he knows more than the engineers about airflow through the front of this car. Seen plenty...

    An IC won’t affect that if the rest of the system is intact as designed. If there’s a giant hole that lets the pressurized air have an escape route…maybe not.

    So you thought putting a big “hole” in the high pressure area that forces air into that opening would somehow improve airflow? It’s all sealed for a reason…to force air through the radiator stack and into the airbox. You unsealed it. That’s a downgrade.
