    Anyone tried/have experience with MonsterTuned?

No. I looked at their website and there is no mention of modifying shift points. I doubt they have the transmission figured out nearly as well as ZFG, or even at all.

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

They have to make the parts before they can fix it. This takes time, despite many thinking there is a "shelf" full of them. Ford uses Just-In-Time manufacturing methods, and this was not a planned procurement.

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

yes, sounds like this is the solution. The parking brake is to take care of the safety issue if there is a bolt failure. More often than not the single bolt will hold. Seems Ford is making the PUI customers a priority with the entire replacement as we can't have those vehicles stuck...

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

not true. It is "Certain 2020-2022 model years" in 22S27.

    Warranty issue with aftermarket intercooler

this question has been asked over and over. Warranties are not "black or white", there is a LOT of gray area in there. Your dealer and/or Ford can decline warranty service for any aftermarket part. Don't pull the Mag-Moss act here either because Ford has more lawyers and cash than you or I...

    Oil Leak!!!

someone may have just been uber messy when they removed the drain plug. The OEM plug is plastic and is very easy to break, especially if you get frustrating trying to remove it! I would definitely check your oil level ASAP.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

I swapped out the driver side plugs to 1-range colder NGK's last night, prepped the passenger side to finish today. It started out as just checking my oil level, then checked the front driver side plug, then wanted to see how much room I had in the back two plug wells, then I wanted to just see...

    How-To: Ethanol Sensor Installation

Send Brett a message, not on his website. Its def worth it.

    How-To: Ethanol Sensor Installation

There are plenty of sources in the driver side engine bay fuse box.

    How-To: Ethanol Sensor Installation

This was part of the sensor install kit from FenFab, not sure the size or what the p/n is. I looked into piecing a kit together, but it would have been more of a hassle and wouldn't have been any less expensive. The FenFab kit is perfect. You might want to look at Fore Innovations to see if...

    aFe Momentum GT CAI

I made a handy guide for installing the ethanol sensor here https://www.explorerst.org/threads/how-to-ethanol-sensor-installation.2506/#post-31964 I'm using an Innovative gauge that is mounted snuggly in the back right side of the center cubby, but you can use the Fuel-It bluetooth or the sleek...

New exhaust 1/2 the weight of stock!

They are thinking: 1. Cost 2. Quiet because 99% of Explorer owners don't give a shit about the exhaust except for the "cool" double tips, even though they are fake If you want a car that is designed for performance then get in line for a Ferrari or Porsche.

    Ford Performance Tune

because rehashing this topic and speculating on how HP numbers is ridiculous. Have fun waiting.

    Loudest Exhaust System

Exactly! I swear I'll sell my ST if I start seeing shit like this rolling around.
  15. twin001

    Ford Performance Tune

READ MY LIPS......NO NEW..errrr, there will never be a Ford Performance tune. Keep bugging Ford Performance all you want, it just won't happen. You will ask them in May and they'll say "end of Q3". Q3 = Q4 and so on.

    Chip tune

Echo what Fuzzytip said. You have a $55-60k SUV. If you can't "afford" to do something a critical as a tune correctly then stay away from upgrades all together. You would literally be burning your money with that TDI "tune" as it will do nothing. You can get a hack-job exhaust or intake, but...

    Which_Car_Jay's New Toy.......

Previous owner was Johnny Chambers. He is on the FB pages and was on again / off again / on again wanting to sell the ST. You picked up one helluva ST!

    HP Tuner RTD questions

Do it....Do it. Then when you buy a C6 Z06 you can use the same HP Tuners to flash tunes to that, once you buy credits for it. Hell, you can even tune your Sea-Doo or Can-Am.
