I hear ya.. When I had my engine replaced at 10k, they forgot to install the inlet clamp on the drivers side turbo! Of course I didn't notice it for 30k mi.. Who knows how much crap has gone through this motor now.. Doing an oil analysis and hoping to not see too much silica

I've had great luck with Jax Wax products. They're pretty much all I use, except I do use Adam's glass cleaner, and glass sealant.

I'll put them back on for winter. I haven't had any warranty issues, but I don't see why there would be.

The ring shouldn't be an issue. I've got a big enough 3d printer and a couple spools of carbon reinforced nylon to play around with.

How about trying to get an 8" midbass in the door? Mounting depth won't be an issue, as the driver is only 58mm deep.

BTW: List on the part is $41.70. I shopped around and got it for $28 with $12 shipping and no tax.

I'm guessing it just pop's on with the seat installed.. Probably pretty easy judging by how easy it just "pops off" when not even trying.
