    Rear Differential Warranty Replacement

A week and a half ago I noticed a lot of oil on the rear hatch. I looked under the car and the entire undercarriage was dripping with gear oil. It appeared to be coming from the drivers side half shaft seal. I got it into the dealer 2 days later, and upon inspection it looks like I'm getting...

Awesome Android box for Wireless carplay & Android Auto

I find it funny that the 2021 Edge has wireless android auto, but the Explorer doesn't.

    Dashcam install (heavy pics)

Fusetaps are easy in the Explorer. Ford populated the fusebox with "Extra/spare" fuses. Routing power is crazy simple in these.

    Rear end damage

Anyone with the 2 bolt subframe have issues with one of the bushings twisting? I'll try to get a pic of my early '21, but noticed while installing exhaust, that the passenger side rubber isolator bushing appeared to have started to twist.

For those thinking about a "performance" exhaust system

Heat retention and velocity is great and wonderful pre-turbine, but after the turbine it's pointless. You want to minimize any and all pressure post turbine, and the easiest way to do that is just dump it to atmosphere as quickly as possible. The only example I can think of that refutes this...

For those thinking about a "performance" exhaust system

This right here is completely wrong. Once the exhaust has been through the turbine housing, the shorter/bigger the exhaust, the better. Prior to the turbine housing is a bit more complicated, but that's not what anyone here is changing. In regards to N/A engines, that really depends. There...

    10r80 swap

Aftermarket support for the 10r80 is WAY better! There's 7 second mustangs running it. It really is the transmission that should have come stock, since they put it in the Aviator, so the development is done.

    Horsepower and Octane

It doesn't "read" octane. It just listens to the knock sensors.

Is The Cold Start Rattle Normal?

I just noticed your location.. Who are you having do the work? I had Summit in Beaver Dam do mine(I originally bought it from Metro on the east side).

Focal, Mosconi, Illusion and Helix build

Same here! Last time I got tested I was 50+% gone in the upper frequencies. Unfortunantly it's only my left ear, so I still have to listen to the complaints from the passenger seat..

Is The Cold Start Rattle Normal?

I got a whole new engine out of my phasers going bad. They went at 9500mi. Ford wanted the engine back to "diagnose" it.

    Winter wheels and tires

I've got a set of 2020 regular explorer take offs with Blizzak's that I'm going to be running this winter in WI. Last winter wasn't horrible with the stock Pirelli's but there were some definite pucker moments.

    Towing limitations for boat

You'll be able to stop, and pass just about everything except a gas station. I towed a 6x10 tall enclosed and averaged about 11mpg on the highway at 70-72mph. My old 7.3 Powerstroke got 12mpg pulling a 28ft enclosed weighing roughly 12000lbs..lol

But is there 4" back there for this 8"? She's got a bit of junk in the trunk.
