How hard was the install? I purchased one and they are not shipping production versions until January 21st.

Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to install it. I know that they created very detailed instructions and that they are going to be creating an installation video.

Would go take those dynos with an extreme grain of salt.

I believe there were some Hellcat owners and Scat pack owners who actually did dyno tests back to back and with mileage on em. Gained next to nothing, actually in the beginning lost power, vs the stock filter. K&N does the same thing with their filters and we all know how thats holding up lol

As Unbroken stated, would get it mainly for looks and some nice whoosh sounds.

I spoke with the engineer and his goal is for them to start going out this week, so if I had to guess I'd sat closer to the end of the week.

Man, I'm getting excited now. I just wish I could get that right side Fenfab pipe so I can do it all at once, I already have the left (cold)_ side sitting on the shelf.

I got off the phone with AFE yesterday. They said they are slated for production within the next two weeks then pre orders will start going out mid February. She said they had about 165 preorders.

Got the same response ....Has anyone looked at the install instructions.....So just as a FYI Check page 7

Also Does anyone know how to tell if it has the lock connector....My part number on the hose is L1ME-6758-JA

READ NOTES BEFORE MOVING FORWARD.
NOTE: The crankcase vent tube may have either a permanent or quick release connector at one or both ends (as shown – orange connectors). If it has the permanent connector at the intake tube side then it must be cut to be removed and the new supplied crankcase hose must be used.
NOTE: If the crankcase vent tube has a crankcase pressure sensor (shown in picture) and permanent connector(s) at the intake tube side then a new tube must be ordered from a local dealership.

I'd say from the info in the AFE Power manual, if yours has the orange connectors, they're the quick disconnect, which is good. If no orange connectors, they're the permanent connectors?!?! The biggest thing I believe is, whether or not our crankcase vent tubes have the pressure sensor or not. I'll be looking under the hood this afternoon.

My Orange connector closes to the intake does not look like the other connectors...I tried to get it off and can't, there is nothing to pinch or pull to get it loose.

Whew.....mine has the piece with the two orange connectors and no sensor!

Time to place my order!

Can't wait until you guys get yours, install them, and post some feedback! I've been spending too much money on parts so I promised myself I would wait until delivery for any more.

I think we are good….

If we have the sensor with quick disconnect (blue) on the intake tube side and permanent (orange) on top we should be good. Reading the directions for the 100th time, I’m assuming we keep the vent tube with the sensor if we have that.

At least this is what I’m understanding from the directions and walking through the steps. If I’m wrong, please let me know.
