What insurance company? No matter who's at fault, you should be working to get your vehicle fixed.
SF is the company & I'm in PA. Never had to do a claim with them before. Nationwide was always easy to get things done.

I just think the "remote" adjuster is the issue.

One thing that sucks is that my fr & rr dash cam was set to 4k for both, crash sensor was set to low, and I only had a 64G SD card installed, so the video was written over by the time we got home.

Got 256G cards on the way.

I swapped my Thermal 3" for a Thermal 2.5" that a local guy had. We both got what we wanted. The 2.5 is nice and quiet mostly, and still roars at WOT.

However, he had the CVFab downpipes on his, and his midpipe was expanded to fit. So now it's kind of loosely on my downpipes. It's only being held in due to the next pipe being connected.

I also didn't like the 2.5 tips and put on some tips from Amazon that look like the 3" version.

I ordered some stainless steel shims to go around my whoosh downpipes so it can fill up the expanded space. I am also going to try a T-bolt clamp there instead of the accuseal type. Hopefully the leak will go away.

I used some thin stainless steel shim material and was able to seat the downpipes better. No more leak.

I'm very happy that I went 2.5. I should've done that from the getgo. The 3" is nice but let's be honest, it is loud.

Here are some sound clips:

The wife texted the other driver with "some words of wisdom" and the next day, they made their statement to the insurance company. Finally, after 2 weeks, we can now get this situation moving forward.

Giving it a rest. Picked up a 2022 Lariat F150 FX4 (57k miles 3.5L) to drive back and forth to work and use at work. Now she can be a driveway queen.

@JADE97 : Excellent!! Sounds like you are well on the road to completion of this mess. Thank God the other driver was not an illegal "visitor" to our country; California seems to have more than our fair share, if you follow me.
