Damn, I just ordered mine from Lethal, but there ain't no way I'm gonna self install.

Just took her home Thursday. Today and yesterday had it tinted 5% all around, new emblem city badges, color match bumper plugs, sto n sho quick release plate kit, auto stop eliminator and forscan to turn off double honk and turn on Bambi mode.

Which badge is this in the right picture? TIA

Cleaned it up inside and out. Put a coat of Meguiars Ultimate paste wax and 303'd all the trim. Should be ready for winter.

Dropped the oil again at 2579 miles. Will do again at 5K then 5K intervals thereafter.

I've always done 1k dump then 5K and every 5k thereafter but I added one additional after Jake made this video.

So mine will look like this:

I checked the transmission fluid and burned my arm in the process. Someone needs to make a dipstick kit. It was slight low, added 1/4 of a quart.

I added the Steeda transmission mount insert. I got it done in less than an hour. No NVH.

What problem did this solve?

The stock transmission mount is soft and has some voids in it. This allows the driveline to move around a bit. This mount will help keep the transmission and driveline more stable, which should help shifts feel more firm, and ultimately put more power to the ground.

I also theorize that excess movement is what accelerates the downpipes and flexpipes cracking. Maybe this will help slow it down, or reduce it.

Installed the version 1.0 Steeda strut bar and torqued it to 22 ft-lbs.

You've already completed a lot of the mod add-ons, so I'm not sure how much you've explored this, but here's what I've learned over the past few weeks, simplified:

**Modes:**
- Tow
- Daily Driver
- Performance (which I chose)
- Race

If we assume that Race provides a 100 hp increase (I'm paraphrasing what I've read on his site), then Performance offers about 80 hp, Daily Driver about 60 hp, and Tow roughly 40 hp. Given what you’ve already done, you could easily select either Tow or Daily Driver while still enjoying increased horsepower and torque if you want to play it safe. Since I'm not planning to take off from a dig with drag tires or anything extreme, I opted for Performance. My vehicle is primarily a daily driver, but I wanted to have more power available when needed. Mainly because it is "fun". I need to hurry up and get the rear sway bad installed after Christmas.

I pretty much live in Sport mode now, so I am curious to see if once this is complete, if I stay in Normal.

Had my 93 base tune available early this morning (very FAST). Just got home, loaded it, made a couple of 2500-6000rpm 3rd-gear runs, and sent them back. I did make note that there was some noticeable ping/rattle at 2500 3rd gear, when you first get on it. He should see all of that anyway.

I've learned the hard way to never volunteer to be the first to experiment with high dollar items, Gadgtfreek's post is what concerns me. I think I'll wait a few months just to make sure.

ETA: When I do I might just go with Livernois and pony up the cash for their warranty.

Well, it’s a basic tune for testing. It also might be lugging at 2500 in 3rd gear. You’re running in manual, so it can’t downshift. So, there's a lug, then it takes off. When it takes off, the rattle immediately goes away. I’m not concerned about it; I just reported it. If the radio was on, you’d never have known. Heck, it may do that without a tune causing it.

Edit: I had Livernois on my edge st. It was a marked improvement, even in normal mode. That said, I wasn't happy with the 8-speed transmission. I also dont feel that had anything to do with them, and Id use them again.

The old saying is, “If you wanna play, you gotta pay”! Just jump in feet first and you’ll never look back. I’ve had my DMS tune installed for the last two years and not a single issue.
