If you kept the 22” setup would you have gone with a 40 tire or continued with the 35? Not sure if a 285 would be too narrow? Just wanted your take on the different sizes available. Thanks

I’d never put a 305/40/22 on a lowered ST. It’s asking for rubbing issues. Now if a 305/40/21 existed it would be perfect for my new wheels but it doesn’t exist outside of one model of snow tire. I personally don’t like a 285 on a 10.5 wheel but plenty do…that’s a personal preference.

Took it apart and painted the outer ring. I tried to wrap it but quickly figured out that’s not a talent I possess.
I have tried to disassemble the ford oval but had no luck. What is the best way to take it apart?

The Timberline version is the only one that comes apart. The normal blue ovals do not. For the TL over you just cut the ends off the melted plastic pins and it pops apart.

gorgeous car man! The new wheels are spot on. I just last nite did a middle of the night pain pill induced impulse buy of the 22x10.5 +30 set up that you perfected! Had a shoulder replaced a week ago and have since spent more than i care to admit to after reading your entire build. Thank you for sharing so much and being very receptive to answering all of our questions. Really appreciate it and you embody the forum sharing mindset. Kudos Unbroken.

What % are you using on the headlight outline tint/rear taillight blinker/reverse tint?

The rear is the lightest tint Lamin-X has. The new heads I’m not sure what it is…the lightest PPF the shop had where I dropped them off.

It came out as well as I could have hoped. Pretty much spot on to my “render”. Still needs a lot of cleaning and paint correction on the rest of the car and I can’t wait to get the new wheels on. View attachment 28223
really love the hood vents, it came out perfect.

around how much did it cost to fabricate? im gonna start saving for this as my next mod
