“Surging” under WOT

What’s up guys,

new to the platform so I’m trying to see how “normal” this is

during WOT, higher gear/speed (50+), the transmission feels as though it’s surging. Almost like an intermittent timing drop or a soft misfire. It definitely feels trans related.

i went ahead and did a trans flush/new filter to see if that made a difference, no change. Fluid was clean, no metal on the pan.

2020 w/59k, bone stock.

any thoughts?

Is it like a shift flare, like it’s overreving when you expect it not to? You would also feel a loss of acceleration during the shift flare if that’s what it’s doing.

There were also TSBs for the 2020 trans. Might want to make sure they were done. Might be your dime at this point, not sure. Iirc those were more for hard shifting though.
