Okay, plugged the amp back in and the radio plays. Neither amp would start off of the LC2i so I ran remote wires and both fire right up! So now to the next issue… using the sub input wires am I only limited to a bass signal? If so, what do I tap in to for a full sound spectrum? I didn’t remove the dash speaker so it plays just fine but none of the other speakers (except the subs) have any output? I’m guessing only the sub spectrum is being sent out by the factory amp and that is all I am getting to the new amps… thoughts?

I use the Zen A2B. You really need that or similar to completely change the B&O stuff. The LC2i is barely good enough to add a sub amp. It’s not even close to the right tool of the job you’re doing.

Okay thanks, never used one before… do you plug the factory wiring harnesses in to it?

Yes. It intercepts all the info, send car stuff to the car so your phone calls and bells and whistles work then gives you either optical out to a DSP or rca out to a DSP or amps.

Okay, for those of you using the Zen Audio A2B-Plus I have questions… I pulled the 3 plugs from the factory amp and have them plugged in to the Zen harness. It lights up all 4 LED’s and with the remote wire installed it turns on the amps as it is supposed to (The radio shows on the head unit but I can’t get sound?). Now is where their instructions lose me? What do the two red wires on the far right go to? Also, are all colored wires on the left speaker wires? None of these are covered in the instructions… And last but not least how would I use the RCA’s they have as outputs to run 6 channels + sub on one amp and a separate sub from a separate amp? Everything on the amps is positive/negative but the Zen only has 1 RCA per channel?

This process is making me feel like a moron…I swear I have installed a car audio system before!
