Actually they’re well documented to fall apart when the flange gets hammered on hard acceleration. Steeda sends a different durometer bushing for those now…and they’re still not needed. Nobody needs to lock their diff down solid on their daily driver. Maybe don’t say people are ignorant when you yourself don’t know all the facts pertaining to those parts.

Nobody with a 2, actually 4 bolt, subframe needs a diff brace. Ford gave us all the bolts. JXB inserts and subframe lockout braces are great…but we don’t need a diff brace. Maybe you need to learn these cars better before you continue to chastise people.

Two bolt subframe assembly bolts bend and break. One bolt subframe assembles bend and break. Put enough on it and it will bend or break, maybe you have the special Explorer with an indestructible differential, good for you Mr. Knowledgeable. It’s not a weak point on 4 bolt cars. I have seen zero instances of both rear bolts breaking and the diff dropping out. I’ve seen bushings get beat up and sag…which is why I said the JXB inserts, which I use, are good idea.
And I don’t really think I’m the guy you wanna get into the “if you can afford it” game with. Anyone that’s seen my build log would agree. But go ahead with your childish insults, punch a few walls and whatever else it is you do to make yourself feel like a man. You come off like a bitch…no matter how big and tough you think you’re typing. You’re impressing nobody.

These conversations most often end the same way, with one member being louder than the other. One fanboy/toady or another jumps in to the fray to back one opinion, or the other, and at the end of the day the thread has answered little and has proven less.

I see a lot of opinions given and little evidence to support the opinions. Having witnessed one thing or the other even multiple times doesn't statistically mean anything with the sampling size we see here. I don't know of anyone buying all of these products to compare with the others and doing 500 launches with each to see they perform or hold up.

Reading it on the internet is worth exactly what you paid to do so. Life is good, be happy.

Steeda braces have broken
AWR braces have broken
FenFab braces have broken
ID Speed braces have NOT broken and is used on the currently quickest ST in the world. Livernois braces also have not broken. If results matter…there’s some results.

First off I'm not a Steeda Fanboy or any other fan boy for that matter. I look for what I think is the best solution to a problem I might have. Having a 2025 ST with the single bolt diff and having bent the bolt I sought to find a solution. Looking at all the options to me the best solution is the Steeda with the Livernois running a very close second. Bought the Steeda cause I didn't want blue. Put the brace on and it was a simple install. Bought the Steeda 12.9 bolt and am waiting for the JXB insert and will install both. Hopefully ends my issues and I can get back to putting my foot in it. My opinion is simply this - if you own one of these vehicles you should consider a brace -period. Drive at your own peril otherwise.

Yet again, your opinion isn’t supported by facts. The facts are, not “all” ST’s need a diff brace. There have been no reported bolt failures on 4 bolt cars, even though you yourself claim there have been. You’re welcome to form your own opinions, you are not welcome to form your own facts.
