That means it’s kicking it out cause of an error. Have you started the car lately? There’s a limit on the amount of remote starts you can do.

Hood open, door open, or been sitting for too long will all disable remote start.

Certain pending codes will also disable it. I'd pull DTC's using ForScan (or a good scan tool) and see if anything pops up.

Mine had a similar issue for awhile.

after a week, the shop figured it out, one of the active grill shutter fins was stuck and threw intermittent codes when trying to remote start that caused the failed remote start. They went through and cleaned the shutter, i have had no problems since.

The issues at the time were intermittent working remote start and sometimes cycling remote start 2-3 times would remedy the problem.
