I'm getting the itch to waste some more $$ on my ST, and while mine sounds great (CVfab DPs, Thermal 2.5 exhaust) I find myself yearning for those sweet sweet turbos sounds. I've been looking at the HSF and fenfab intakes for a while, but can't find any solid videos with decent audio from inside the cabin. Are you getting the loud whoosh in the cabin that I'm jonesing for? Videos and sound clips would be great. Anyone regret their intake?
Quick disclaimer: I fully understand the lack of performance benefit here, just looking to create a nostalgic soundtrack while I'm hauling the family.

Just be prepared for P2C90, P04F0 error codes with the FENFAB, while not everyone experiences them, they do occur. FORSCAN can clear them but the HP Tuners RTD4 cannot clear them.

What’s not awesome is all the hot air it draws into the one air filter. That’s the worst intake design out there of these cars. There’s a reason nobody else did that.
I ran a whole bunch of datalogs and so has Chris, we saw literally no difference in IAT2 numbers. Just because you may believe it sucks in hot air, the reality is is it doesn’t make a difference at all.

Yep, although someone found a fix for the P2C90 and are testing it more to see if they can implement it as an update.

That Big Sucker sounds cool but I've been weary of it considering the price is higher than competitors and the added clutter of the driver's side filter (especially at that weird angle) would probably drive me nuts.

I had also heard about the Fenfab error codes, I think I saw it was linked to one of the T junctions they were using?
All things considered it seems like the HSF is the way to go for a clean install, with no additional opportunity for heat soak, however I still don't know that it will result in the rad sounds I'm looking for. If it's underwhelming I'd rather just stay stock.

If someone wants a sub par intake from an absolute prick of a fabricator…his stuff is available. Funny how he runs his mouth online but when he’s standing in front of me he doesn’t have the balls to even open his mouth. He also did a bunch of dick move stuff when he left HSF. There’s a reason he’s not allowed in my FB group…he’s a POS. This thread asked for opinions…there’s mine.

It’ll be the same noise as the Fenfab or CT, keep in mind you do need to remove the front bumper to install it.
