I liver in Bremerton and looking to see if anyone knows a shop that would install some downpipes. I got a quote today for $1700 for the downpipes install along with the full Exhaust I bought. I am not that handy but could probably do exhaust myself, this 1700 quote is like WTF or is that a normal price in your guys opinion.

Took me about 4 hours to install downpipes and about an hour to install the Thermal exhaust. The passenger side is a bitch to get out. If I were to do it again, maybe 2 hours. Even at $200/hr that’s only $1000. I’m no expert mechanic but have skills from rebuilding a few cars.

I was thinking perhaps 3.5-4 hour job, on a lift, makes it straight forward. Someone who has done them before, significantly less time. Find out their flat-rate and figure it out.

Decently not a normal price. Most shops wanted $600 or so around me, and I have fairly high labor costs around me.

I paid $600, but had issues with the CVFAB DP's leaking, so tacked on another $250.00. $850 total, but CVFAB comped me the DP's because of it.

Did you replace the gaskets?

I think they were charging 210 for labor cost per hour and said it would take 7 hours.
