when i turn the wheel on my 2020 Explorer ST there is a clicking sound. It happens when the car heats up. My truck is back in the shop for 2nd time, but they still can’t figure out the problem. Any thoughts? I asked ChatGPT and found these results.. Thank you!

This is a somewhat common problem I believe coming down to the washers on the axle bolts.

i second what @2020FordRaptor mentioned regarding the washers on axle bolts. saw a similar issue with my friend's Explorer. might be worth bringing that up specifically with the mechanics.

The ford mechanic is replacing the 2 front axels...they think that's the problem. If that doesn't work...I'll definitely mention the washers on the axle bolts! Thank you!

did you get that done under an extended service plan? And did it fix the issue? I definitely have that but swear it's coming from the rear

I've noticed the same thing recently on mine. I only hear it when I'm driving up through the parking garage here when making right turns to the next floor. Going down (and making the same turns but left) I don't here it. I haven't had the chance to crawl under and take a look.
