So, I took mine in before the 36k mark when the recall was issued. They said it was fine and they just flashed the car’s computer. But I still have this issue now at 37.5k and they don’t want to accept responsibility. Anyone have a number to Ford to address this? I get it could’ve been a supply chain issue. But come on. This is a known problem that wasn’t properly repaired.
I think I got lucky because when the car was here they ran a test and the blue screen appeared. If the blue screen didn't appear it might of been a different story

Back in March, my dealer flat out said if the software update doesn't solve the problem they will order me a new rear camera. So far for the past 4-5 months that seems to have been the solution, a new camera and updated software.
Yea I think Ford thought it would be cheaper to do software updates then give out new cameras

Your dealer service department will have the information. I gave up keeping track of all the recalls and TSB issues and had them check. They did, inspected my ST for a number of issues, ordered parts and a couple of months later got parts and fixed everything over two days in shop. All warranty covered, no charges.
I was in your area back in May, if I get a chance to live in that beautiful place again I will take my ST to the same dealer you do!

If it is warranty part replacement, there is no service or parts charge, so how is there a tax charge on a zero charge item? Sounds fishy to me.

They did a software reset at 28k miles in December. They told me then if it didn't work they'd then replace the camera (new Ford policy for all recalls ... test first then and only then replace with parts). Since I was at 38k miles the dealer wouldn't do it under warranty. They gave me 800 number for Ford. After an hour of arguing they "qualified" me under financial assistance (with no financial information from me so don't ask me how) and said they'd cover all but the tax on the $85 part. Whatever, right?

How petty for them to take a few dollars from the customer. Either cover it or don't!

Well after 2 1/2 years I got a new camera. So far so good. What was weird about the whole thing was my dealer said my ST was not under the recall. Buttttt I would get a new camera under the factory warranty. I cant figure it out, but before I was told this (which was a big surprise), I was told by the same dealership that it was a recall issue and fixes would need to be done. It wasn't till a month ago that someone at the dealership figured this out.
I gather from all this that not all ST's fall under the recall???
The dealer just didnt want to put up with me any longer???
They just decided to just give me a camera and make up that story???? You know what Jimmy cracked corn & I don't care how it got done I'm just glad I'm done with that

So anyone still having issues and your warranty is still good or you have an extended warranty, maybe it might be better to go that route

What they're supposed to do, whether recalled or not, for blue screen rear camera, is to update the ICM software and if that doesn't work, which it didn't for me, replace the rear camera. It has been about 8 months and the camera is working fine.

They replaced my camera last month. Did the flash the first time and driving off the parking lot it was blue screen. Waited for next oil change and stated that in the discrepancy and they swapped camera. Fingers crossed, it's working great.

Same for me worked about 9 months and started getting blue screen again. Had in dealership last week for software update. Guess what next morning blue screen again so now they’re saying drop it off again for the 4th time but no courtesy cars are available. Great quality for a $60K vehicle huh? I wonder what changed over the 9 months to get a blue screen and now it’s worse since the software update! Going to turn off the rear assist to see if that works. Anyone have any other thoughts? Funny he said I had the error code when my vehicle started at home but they couldn’t duplicate!

You did get lucky! I just got the “we can’t duplicate it” but they can see I had the error code at home when I started it to drive there. Go figure! Had new camera installed and updated software - still blue every now and then. Ford really doesn’t have a solid answer!

Two more visits and the blue screen returned within 24 hrs, now they say they will contact Ford Support and get back to me.
Please post response when you find out as I’m in the same spot. They have no answer to why it’s happening after a new camera and software update!

I have had my camera replaced and still getting a blue screen every now and then. Will let the dealer know when it goes in for its 15,000 mile service
Did you take it in? Having same issue and they have no fix!

Been having the blue screen of death from day one. took it in multiple times. "sorry we can't duplicate the problem". here we are today 28k miles on the car. i took it in for rear bolt, camera failure, and basic maintenance. Apparently my warranty is expired. they said its been over the 3 years and they cant cover the camera issues. but i have multiple records show the ST has been in for this issue, do i have a shot for them to repair it even if its out of warranty since its been in there for this exact issue?

My dealer got a new service manager, and it's been better service since then. The old manager always said the typical "We can't replicate, so we're not gonna do anything". The new guy told me "We try to fix an issue by the book once. If you bring it back a 2nd time, we will replace parts and contact specialists until it is truly fixed."

I too had the recall done nearly a year ago.. only problem was they never filed whatever paperwork w/ Ford. So I still got another letter and have the notification in my Ford Pass app saying it needs to be done. Well, in the last 2 weeks I'v had the BSOD (not just a windows problem anymore :p ) 3 times. Already scheduled an appt for them to 'redo' the recall/replace the camera. :/

I thought recalls HAD to be fixed regardless of warranty.

I’ve contacted ford directly today and they will pump a call into the dealership in the AM. I’m staying calm about it until i get a hard no! Just want to see what your guys experience has been with this camera.
camera is a big issue the diff bolt and that damn annoying panoramic roof shatter is another one FML
