We are assuming the 1 bolt ones are the issue and not some bolts that were faulty due to supply chain issues, wrong hardness, length etc. If it’s only the one bolt ones to be accurate you need to know how many vehicles had 1 bolt and how many failed. For Ford to recall(without a fix in place)...

What genius/fool told them that a single off-centered bolt could withstand the stress that was originally designed to be shared between 2 equidistant off-centered bolts? Was Ford short of bolts or did they just say the hell with safety. Plus the vehicles are unsafe to be sold but it’s ok for us...
