    2025 Oil Capacity

Cool…that Ford website says 6.5. Discrepancies happen….6.5 is closer to correct if you’re going to drive the car hard.

    2025 Oil Capacity

Apparently it depends on what you read. I knew I saw this as one time.

    2025 Oil Capacity

I already said I misremembered on the fill level but they in fact did change the oil pump along with a few other things like turbos, intercooler fittings and associated piping. Actually…I remembered just fine. Maybe there’s a discrepancy on Ford websites and/or documents.

    Find My Key Fob

There’s a surprising amount of room under the seat rail covers front and rear.

    Gas Treatment

And outside of loading racks at the refiner the bulk of it is shipped to storage terminals where gas from every refiner in the area is dumped into the same storage tanks. The additive package for a particular brand is blended at the loading rack, save for Costco who blends theirs on site during...

10 threads is safe…that’s the minimum I ever recommend.

    Render vs reality.

I just used a plain black plug from the parts store.

    2025 Oil Capacity

Those screen shots I posted are from datalogs sent to ZFG. Adam is the one that identified the issue years ago and in the performance groups adding up to 1/2 a quart has become the standard at oil changes. You can find threads from Adam here discussing it as well.

    2025 Oil Capacity

    You’re right…I misremembered another conversation.

Wash day is always good for a new fave.

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

Random wash day pics. I still love this damn car

    2025 Oil Capacity

Many have. Every tuner that touches these things recommends this. Your opinion is as irrelevant as that stupid video you posted. And FYI Ford changed the oil pump and fill level for the 25’s. They didn’t do that just for the fun of it. People are still logging pressure drops, just not as bad.

    2025 Oil Capacity

And nobody here is talking about overfilling that much. Again…it has no relevance to this conversation. We’ve been building and racing these cars for going on 6 years now. We’ve learned a lot about keeping them alive and no matter what irrelevant YouTube video you post…if an ST is going to be...

    2025 Oil Capacity

If you drive your car hard this is why you need to add more than what’s called for. Both of these were factory fill levels. This is what will hurt your car…not an extra 1/2 a quart of oil.

    2025 Oil Capacity

That video talks about someone doubling the oil in a car. It has no relevance to this conversation at all

Datalog your launches. Your car will tell you what’s not enough.

Honestly it’s been so long I don’t remember.

    2025 Oil Capacity

I just crossed 115K…I’d say longevity is just fine. NOT filling it to that level on a launch will have oil pressure dropping dangerously low…now THAT is not the best thing for longevity.

Top of the hash mark then an extra 1/2 quart is where you want to be if you’re launching the car.

    H.O. alternator for 6th Gen 3.0L Ecoboost

You’ll never draw that much just playing music. I ran over 3K rms of A/B power for several years with nothing extra on the electrical but an XS Power D4800 replacement battery. I run an X2 Power battery now and I’m up to about 3500 rms with zero issues. Tweeters and midranges draw very very...
