    Rear end damage

Yup, that's our retail ("non police") pcm reflash for keeping the vehicle from rolling if/when the bolt breaks.

Did I see another ST today or not? (Lancaster Ca)

I bought my ST because it is an ST and expect the proper badging that goes along with it. I see debadging as taking away from the very heart of the vehicle. Of all the Stangs, high performance sedans, foreign sports cars, etc. I've owned, not a single one was debadged. Never even occurred to me...

Thanks for that post. It seems you haven't received your new engine yet because you said "getting."

Did I see another ST today or not? (Lancaster Ca)

Why on earth someone would buy a vehicle that they've sought after and then debadge it so it doesn't display what it is, is beyond me. As far as it being less noticeable as an ST, it only has two small badges (F/R) to begin with. I think Ford should've put another one on each front quarter panel

Abusing an Explorer ST for science

That's why we're trained with PPP's ("Personal Protective Envelope"): helmet, fire resistant face covering, face piece, turnout coat, bunker pants, gloves & boots! Sorry to hear about what happened to you when you were younger.

Thank you for your support. But no thank you about the 3 drunks/gunfight thing! Fire isn't sentient, doesn't look to get you personally, and doesn't threaten to come to your home and get you and your family. Glad it's what you wanted to do, because it's sure not what I wanted to do!

Your story is a tough one to read. I had a blown engine on a new Ford sedan over a decade ago (camshaft chain skipped on the interference engine). They gave me a new loaner truck to drive and after one month I had my car back no issues. Hope you finally get your vehicle back this week.

The pic of the Sheriff praying beside his patrol unit is inspiring. It reminded of the time I was driving the pumper coming back from somewhere when dispatch put out an alarm for a reported structure fire. I quickly made the sign of the cross over myself after I hit the lights/sirens, my officer...

#1 Everybody is up in arms over Ford's lame recall due to their changing the rear subframe bolts from 2 to 1. #2 Other than that everyone pretty much loves their ST's. Considering the Price/Performance/Options quotient, nothing else even comes close.

It's a one bolt and it was parked, that's bad enough.
