    All of the “Chinese” brands run super narrow. Arturo, Lionheart and Lexani for sure. Pirelli and Michelin run closer to true width if not even a little wider. Any tire with some sidewall bulge on a +38 11” wheel will likely be problematic when it come to the front struts. I’m sure you’ve seen...

    That’s the same car in both pics and that’s a very very narrow running 305. I won’t clog up this build thread anymore but I’ll say be very careful and specific with an 11” wheel and 305 tire. Backspacing and tire width will make or break it.

    It’s 100% dependent on the backspacing of the wheel and anything flush will be scary close to the strut up front. What others are running that combo? I haven’t seen anyone at all.

    It’s the spacer, not the protrusion. Most shops won’t deal with spacers for legal reasons their lawyers invented.

    Why would I do that? One bad luck nail so the tire couldn’t be repaired doesn’t mean you switch tires. The tire did it’s job and I was able to drive to the tire shop on it with no issues…kind of the reason to have run flats.

    Got a nail in a $652 Pirelli run flat right on the corner of the sidewall…so I replaced that which was another $42 to mount and balance. Fun times!

    I won’t rehash everything I said over there because it’s all posted there but my opinion is: Single digit differences in IAT. Less than 1lb difference in airflow lbs per/min. And a .05 improvement in track times that were different tracks on different days and refusal to post the pre-Big Mouth...

    Alignment Specs (Camber)

    To match the front it should be set to -.5° My guess is the shop you used doesn’t know where to adjust rear camber from. Tell them the adjustment point is where the upper control arm bolts to the frame…way up high above the exhaust…and to try again.
