Add 20 years ... The original SHO was fast for it's time ... But my 100% bone stock '14 was faster, about the same as the Explorer ST ...

With your fairly good DA, you match C&D's 13.8 and you're a tenth faster than MT's 13.9 time (both journals ran with 21" wheels). No reason to be concerned, you're running exactly as expected for stock.

If you think the ST's base sound system is "not so" powerful, then you should've heard the base sound system that came in my Taurus SHO. Literally night and day. The SHO's was definitely a "not so" powerful audio system, the ST's shames it in every way.

With every week that goes by, my mpg is increasing (I currently have ~3,000 miles on the car). I'm now geting over 20 mpg combined, and that's with a fairly heavy foot and being in Sport Mode 99% of the time.

How did you measure/locate that info? Easily sounds more like a 300w-400w sound system.

Thanks for keeping it real! Neighbors like that can be both good and bad.;) And the Explorer's styling is definitely the most aggressive of any SUV out there.(y) Wants to pull over a government agent for fun. Proof of why not to use drugs.:rolleyes:

Good luck with your Beemer! Personally, I prefer the Explorer's styling over every other available SUV out there (including Porsche) but that's just me.

Still sounds great to me! I also didn't want the vertical screen, and will not be upgrading my powerful base sound system (see FORD's description below).
