Got the brakes finished up with a quick test drive and 2nd bleed then had a buddy stop by with a scan tool to run an ABS Service Bleed just in case. The oem fittings are such a pain in the ass…the lowest bidder strikes again. Drove home and bedded them on the way but haven’t really stood on them...

Finished up the Rotora brake install.

Busy day today. I’ll drive it tomorrow and bed them in.

Thermal is the better option. Full 2.5” including mid-pipes where Borla is a 2.25” mid-pipe back system leaving the problematic oem flex joint in place.

Slow progress but should be final sanded today and then to upholstery tomorrow.

The oem sub has a neo magnet…that’s why it’s small. Magnet size means nothing. I’m not saying the oem sub is good because it’s not…but that’s a bad analogy you used.

Old post I know but that’s not how it works. You would need to double power for a 3db increase. Going from 600 to 1000 would hardly be noticeable.

That stuff already has a new home.

All Ford does is rebrand someone else’s stuff so they’re either Steeda or H&R with a new box and likely higher price.

I haven’t found anything yet. The Steeda parts are stock ST parts…nothing special about them.

The AWR part uses 2 bolts in the diff, this one uses 4 to spread the load put more. While I don’t know the durometer of the bushing I know the engineers that designed it ran multiple calculations to come up with what they did. I doubt they’re gonna just give that info away. AWR just uses a...

It’ll obviously take a custom mounting ring and maybe some trimming on the inner door panel but 100% possible.

This is actually my second set of these brakes. They stopped my Ram R/T on a dime.

Time to grind the bolt head off.

Just peel off the tape and put new tape on. It’s a $5 fix instead of ordering a new badge. Or just leave it off…looks better that way anyway.

I think I forgot to mention the hot side piping from FenFab…that’ll be here next week. Just doing it to try to make the ugliest engine bay in history a little more interesting.

Mine is a fun weekend toy with a mind blowing audio system I use to compete in SQ competitions with. It’s not built to do be a 1 trick pony…it does a lot of things well.
