I use an XS Power D4800…and I didn’t do anything but swap it. I’ve also had the battery completely unhooked numerous times throughout the audio install. Never did anything extra and have had exactly zero issues.

I didn’t say it can pull power…I’m giving you a hint to what the root cause of the CEL probably is.

Sounds like he left the little motor for the shutters unplugged. Check that first.

With the countless posts here and threads on every FB group about how bad 5 Star is when compared to others…why would you even be considering them? Makes no sense.

If you want it to relearn you driving like a grandpa then sure. If you want it to relearn with some pep in it’s step…then drive it like you plan to drive it.

I do like the new kit with the integrated parking brake. The extra rear caliper is why I went a different route.

That’s from an Aviator. You have to buy all of the parts and put it together yourself. I was never able to find a complete salvaged one so I just bought new.

That’s not nearly as much fun as the people claiming 4-5mpg increase with a tune. The FB groups are full of them. Or the guys claiming a HP increase with the Big Mouth snorkel for these things.

Swapped the tall 2nd row headrests with the short one from the 2nd row bench.

I hate tall headrests on rear seats.…so I ordered up a pair of 2nd row middle seat headrests. Luckily these dropped right in. My last 2 trucks I had to rebuild the frames and the rods that go into the seat...I like the simple approach much better.

If you have a ‘22 or newer you don’t have a valve. Turbosmart makes a 50/50 valve for the older models that do have a valve. Never seen what you’re talking about on one of these.

I have no issues browsing a thumb drive while driving.

Our beaches are packed harder than most roads. Don’t need to change modes.

You have nothing to worry about. The cats are tucked up way too high and the car is way too low for them to be stolen. Thieves look for easy scores…this isn’t one.

I have covers that hang over the kick panel pods for daily use along with Husky floor liners that I trimmed to fit. Nothing is exposed unless I’m at a competition or showing it off.
