    Hello from Alabama

Unfortunately these vehicles had the old Sync3 vs the Sync4 in your F150 so you can’t get wireless CarPlay. Congrats and welcome to the forum!

Has anyone "tuned" their gauge cluster?

It has been talked about a lot. No way to do it unfortunately. Best way to monitor is get on old SCT or get an old phone and scanner.

    Locking diff upgrades on ST?

No you’re correct. That’s what AdvanceTrac and traction control do.

    2025 new sync reviews?

It’s not a Sync system in the 2025s anymore. They moved to a Google Based software. Ive heard good things

Welcome to the forum. I think we were talking about the Racechip a little while back on the FB group.

2025 car. What mods should I avoid because the ECU hasn’t been cracked

Glad I could be of assistance. There’s no parts you’ll need to avoid, none require tuning,

Almost time to replace 21" Pirellis any recommendation?

It’s perfectly fine to run a 295 on the stock 9” wheel setup. Nobody has had a problem running the larger tire.

    JXB bushing insert

Yes it has become a hot topic. Apparently a lot of them have failed on people, I was never a fan of them in the first place because they didn’t do anything and they cause a lot of NVH.

Steeda vs H&R vs Eibach decision

I’ve never heard of anyone trimming the bump stops.

Time to replace the OEM tires

He’s corrected. The concern about putting a larger tire on a smaller rim is that it’ll balloon out and cause irregular wear and bad handling. The 295s don’t do that on the STs wheel though, you’ll be fine. A lot of people have done it.

    X5 M50i to 2025 ST

Used is completely different ball park. Used STs range from $30-40k depending on mileage and year. BMWs are drastically more expensive. The SRT 392 starts at $75k and is really outdated. I do agree though, Ford could’ve done a lot more with the ST platform, but we do have to remember it is a...

    Oiy! I slept on these.

Welcome and congrats on the new buy!

    JXB bushing insert

I was more or less referring to the horrible Steeda Pinion Bushings. And I don’t understand this: You’re driving the car on a lift?

    JXB bushing insert

But what if it isn’ta bad pinion bearing and just NVH that was gained? If you didn’t feel it without the parts, it shouldn’t be a problem to a dealer.

    X5 M50i to 2025 ST

I disagree. The bang for buck value is best in class IMO performance wise. What other 60k SUV can you spend just around $2k on that runs sub-12 second quarter miles?

    X5 M50i to 2025 ST

Well, sorry, can’t tune these the 2025s yet. Congrats on the buy though and welcome to the forum! Be sure to check out my modding guide which details all the parts available for these cars: https://www.explorerst.org/threads/explorer-st-modding-101-guide.7324/

    Rear Bumper Hitch Cover

I always like these cause theyre a lot cheaper then the other offerings...

    Tuning

Totally agree with this, it’s going to help by a couple tenths in the quarter-mile which is a decent amount on paper, but nothing noticeable to the butt dyno like you said.
