    Navigation sound garbled

2020 ST with Bose sound system and recently the navigation prompts are very garbled, sound as if the speaker is blown, was thinking it would use the Audio systems speakers for Navigation, but talk radio sounds fine over the sound system. Only the directions from the factory sound system sound...

    ACTUAL new owner - 2020

Check for Windshield trim fitment on the pax side, should be no gap between glass and plastic along bottom edge of Windshield (mine leaked through there, down behind the glovebox, once snapped fully back in place no problem. Mine came with improperly mounted rear drain hose for full sun/moon...

TSB on water leaks on rear hatch and radio module damage...

I discovered that a water leak behind the dash can be caused by the windshield bottom trim being loose and not sealed to the bottom edge of the windshield, especially if a Battery replacement was needed.

Water leak passenger side carpet wet. 2020 St.

I've considered using some #22072 Permatex Hi Temp Ultra Black RTV Silicone along the bottom edge of the windshield before snapping the two cowl pieces back into the windshield. That would seal and hold that cowl on the bottom edge of the glass, but be able to be peeled away fairly easily.

    Water Leak When It Rains

Turns out my passenger side cowl wasn't warped at all, just not fully seated. I opened the hood and just pushed back on the cowl piece and it snapped under the windshield. Tested with a 1/2 gallon of water, no leaks. Photos of before and after

    Water Leak When It Rains

Just discovered that my '20 ST has a 1/4 separation from the bottom edge of the windshield to the sealing gasket. I can see debris inside the gap, so I'm gonna try and clean it out and either seal it myself or take it to an automotive glass shop.

Water leak passenger side carpet wet. 2020 St.

So I did find the Battery cover not snapped in, snapped it in and added water and mine's still leaking. Inspected the windshield bottom edge and found that the factory seal was separated from the windshield by a 1/4 inch, even see debris inside the gap. Gonna clean it as best I can and try...

    Spacers

And I did 1.25" both front and back, as well as H&R Lowering springs and a Steeda anti-sway bar upgrade. Very happy with the results, Here's a link to the post back in '21. Explorer ST Forum's Wheel and Spacer thread

    H&R springs with Bora spacers

I did with Bora 1.25" Front and Back, no rubbing issues posted pics back in '21 here in a thread https://www.explorerst.org/threads/last-call-show-your-st-photos-with-your-stock-21-inch-wheels-lowering-springs-and-wheel-spacers.1249/#post-14270

    Autostop and heat shutting off

Not sure what Autostop.start eliminator's you've looked at but the most expensive one I've seen is $99, and even seen some for $49. And it does just plug in, it's so simple I only spent 10 minutes installing it three years ago and have never pressed that autostop/start button again.

    1/4” Hub-centric spacers

To each our own, here's a shot I did of no spacers on left (drivers) side, 1.25" Bora spacers on both front and rear passenger side, no issues with that spacing, get's lots of compliments.
