    Lowering Springs Pros and Cons

Thanks, had to use this with my alignment shop that was super confident there is no way to adjust rear camber. They later complained "why don't they use eccentric bolts it would be easier".

Back to Ford after a 5 year hiatus

Welcome. I'm an ex-Subaru myself. Had a WRX and more recently forester XT (with the wrx engine). This is my first Ford and I'm loving it. If you decide to start modding and getting a tune , I warn you it is quite addictive!

    Oil Change

Did mine at 1000 miles. Makes me feel good. There's a youtube vid out there with a dude that has basically devoted his life to oil with testing showing that an early oil change on a new vehicle is wise. Then again there's a lot out there and its up to you to go with what makes you feel better...

    Rear differential leaking

My guess is water ingress into the subframe component that the bushing is pressed into. Maybe it's getting in on the top and trickling down, or making it's way in around the bushing itself. Then it builds up and slowly drips for days after you drive through the rain or maybe a drive-through car...

2023 ST with oil leaking around right rear tire, coming from the shock?

They sure do, seems Ford is happy to keep putting on whatever batch of bad suspension struts and shocks and just wait for the warranty claims instead of starting from scratch and replacing their inventory with known good. This problem seems to be happening since the ST debut.

What grade of gas do you put in your ST?

Yea , just take the 3.0 nano further with higher capacity turbos, more fueling, and all forged internals and call it a day. Basically headroom to let her have a long life in the 600’s. Of course with the 10r80 and better rdu.

Metal in Oil at 50k Miles

Ever get that oil analysis done?

What grade of gas do you put in your ST?

That would be rad, but I doubt it would ever happen. I think the ST came along purely because they were basically making them already as the police interceptor and figured why not cash in on some additional retail sales and keep the assembly lines busy. I do wish they had put the 10R80 and...

    ST vs. The Competition

Those germans know how to get power out of a twin turbo engine for sure, but of course you pay for it! To be fair, he had an extra liter of engine displacement on you. Many of those engines can handle 700-800whp on stock internals with a stage 3 mod setup. I was so tempted to go the route of a...

What grade of gas do you put in your ST?

I keep a few bottles of octane boost in the back, just in case I have a brain lapse or am traveling somewhere that only has 91. With the ZFG 93 tune its kinda necessary.

What grade of gas do you put in your ST?

True, I get disappointed when I see one and find a soccer mom driving it. I kind of die inside a little. But hey, it pumps up the sales numbers which we need to keep Ford making stuff like this. OR maybe its her husband's and she's just borrowing it. OR she's a car chick! Call me a bigot I don't...

What grade of gas do you put in your ST?

Then get the ST-Line and save some bucks I say!

What grade of gas do you put in your ST?

Run the highest available to you, 93 preferable. With 87 it will adjust and be fine but you will loose performance. If getting a tune , you will need to specify the tune for the highest you can get in your area.

Spark plugs. What do you use?

I'm starting to wonder if the issues with the front struts and axles just have to do with the system being designed badly for the vehicle. I had to get both front struts replaced at 2K miles, now I'm thinking is a combination of shit parts ford uses and under-designing the system to handle the...

    Scraped a pole... ugh

Got the ST back . All like new again! as for the auto reverse brake I don’t see a way to disable it . I get some people like it but it should be an option. I started playing with tapping the gas, I see that a quick as possible tap or maybe two will disengage it without the vehicle moving much...

    Scraped a pole... ugh

I feel it takes more than a light tap, I try light taps and I hear the engine bog a bit but the damn reverse hold still engaged.

    Scraped a pole... ugh

I enjoy auto hold but also like I can disable it when needed like creeping close to stuff. Auto hold reverse I hate , I did some searching looks like auto reverse hold may be able to be disabled in the menus , going to check once I get the ST back from being repaired. If not I’ll hunt with...

    Scraped a pole... ugh

part of the issue is how the vehicle requires you to goose the gas to get the damn thing to move when in reverse. It does the auto-wheel lock thing instead of just rolling. If I was rolling really slow I would have stopped much quicker when realizing i made contact. Instead I had to goose the...
