    Hate my 3" thermal exhaust

The current quickest stock turbo ST 0-60 uses a stock cat-back. The oem exhaust isn’t a restriction for 95% of ST’s. They also stopped using that valve in 2020.

Of course. That’s literally what insurance is for.

    PIU struts/shocks

You can’t measure ground to fender to compare, only axle centerline to fender. Shocks and struts don’t effect ride height anyway.

    PIU struts/shocks

Interesting….I’ve been considering swapping front and rear. I do like a firmer ride but mostly wanting to swap because my car is just over 60K on the clock and we all know the originals are barely clinging to life. lol That and Bilstein apparently has no plans to bring B6’s or B8’s to market for...

Explorer ST Wheel Size, Bolt Pattern, Offset & Tire Information

Unsprung and rotational are the same but different. Wheels and tires, brake rotors…things that spin are rotational AND unsprung. Calipers are unsprung. Shocks and struts are 1/2 unsprung…etc. Losing rotational unsprung weight pays higher dividends than just unsprung weight.

HPTuners NEW features for the Explorer ST/Aviator Platform!!

Adam at ZFG was on the forefront for testing and getting these features ready for prime time. I would hit him up for info since he had all the test cars trying this stuff out. Also fair warning…the trans brake will be HARD on parts. You very likely will break something expensive in short order...

    Ford Performance Tune Question

Dealers are stupid. The Sync system has nothing to do with the engine tune.

    Wipers skip on windshield

Clean your windshield better. Use 0000 steel wool dry then blow off the residue…no better glass cleaner on the planet. Then just use straight water for washer fluid so you don’t get crud build up again.

    Transmission Throttle Blip

Sounds more like a shift flare…which isn’t a good thing.

Front grill with no Ford logo?

Just install it right with fender washers on both sides and bolts and it won’t go anywhere. Mine is still there after countless 150+ runs.

Ride quality difference switching from Street pack 21" wheels and tires to OEM 20" wheels and tires?

You bought a sporty suv with firmer shocks and struts and low profile tires…the ride quality is what’s expected from that package. 20’s may help some but you still have the suspension to deal with…you could swap shocks and struts for Platinum versions to soften it up some more. Check your tire...

Ride quality difference switching from Street pack 21" wheels and tires to OEM 20" wheels and tires?

18’s with Street Pack brakes. If he has 21’s those are the brakes he has.

    Waido Front Splitter Install

That’s a fact. Take a look at that gloss black trim piece on the bottom of the front bumper…if there’s any miles on the car at all it’s sand blasted. I replaced that piece when I installed the lip and had both wrapped in clear PPF.

    Waido Front Splitter Install

Mine wasn’t painted…it’s molded gloss black. I can tell you now…double sided tape and/or self tapping screws won’t hold it. I used 1/4” stainless bolts with nylock nuts and 1” fender washers on both sides every 6ish inches.

    Aftermarket Amplifier Wiring Guide

Not only EQ but also any filters they used in their tuning process. OEM’s love all pass filters and if you don’t know what they did it makes it quite a bit harder to make things sound good.

    Aftermarket Amplifier Wiring Guide

If you use the NAV it’s a dead flat signal out. We’ve measured it more than once in more than one Ford vehicle. There’s nothing better on the market. With it being a CAN-BUS car even the USB is a great input because it maintains a digital signal all the way through the chain to your processor or...
