If you want to change the front of a car…you add a rear bar and vice versa. A tighter rear bar adds front grip.

Nothing you just wrote changes the fact that what you did wasn’t an upgrade. We’ve been modding these cars since the day they came out…you didn’t reinvent the wheel here…you’re just the latest guy to think he knows more than the engineers about airflow through the front of this car. Seen plenty...

An IC won’t affect that if the rest of the system is intact as designed. If there’s a giant hole that lets the pressurized air have an escape route…maybe not.

So you thought putting a big “hole” in the high pressure area that forces air into that opening would somehow improve airflow? It’s all sealed for a reason…to force air through the radiator stack and into the airbox. You unsealed it. That’s a downgrade.

I didn’t worry with 1000+ HP diesels making 100+ lbs of boost and 2000° or more…not gonna worry about it with this car either.

No I just meant what I said. If you like them and they fit your budget, use them. Don’t get hung up on names…just pick something you like. If there’s a Car Toys of other actual car audio place near you get out and listen to a few things in person that fit your budget.

I’ll tell you, some of y’all really overthink some very simple stuff. Pop the rear emblems off with fishing line or whatever you like, get rid of the adhesive with goo gone then polish back out any scratches you may have caused in the process. The whole project shouldn’t take more than an hour.

That will only be 2mm further outward. You’ll be fine with that.
