    Module breakout issue

I was looking for other programs that might have the breakout that I am missing in Forscan but nothing compares unless you spend a ton of money and I'm not sure they would help. Going back to the car today or tomorrow and start playing again. If I can only get into the as built is it safe to...

    Module breakout issue

I don't think i've ever attempted to read those outside of forscan. You would connect to a vehicle and load it, but do not write. I've then taken screen grabs and then disconnect (again..without writing) and go digest what the AB had for data.

    Module breakout issue

Thanks, I got that one early this morning. Haven't been out to run Forscan yet to see in numbers match. Downloaded as built from Ford but can't open it. The file extension is .ab and I can't find an app to open it. Google says it is for Andoid backup and not meant to be read. I'll contact...

    Module breakout issue

...said that was for Fusion but when I printed it it says 2015-2020 F150. I am going to search today for a Fusion one and see if the numbers match what Forscan shows in the as built modules. Then I will have to learn how to get the as built sections to open for calibration. One step at a time...

    Module breakout issue

Thanks for the reply. The vehicle is a 2017 lincoln so not new. Is there a way or setting to get Forscan to translate this data or do I just wait for the next update and hope. Is there a way to tell what modules are in the different 7B7-01-01 type sections. I have another questions that you may...

    Module breakout issue

...only is the core module data. The section that is in text with drop down menus is a sort of "translated" version of the as_built data that ForScan prepopulates. Not every vehicle will have this for every module. Usually as forscan updates, this may change. When a vehicle is new, you...

    Module breakout issue

New member. I have used forscan for some time to check and clear codes but not for configurations. I have the latest version of Forscan and a recommended USB dongle. I am now trying to configure the low tire setting in the TSP monitor section. I have watched several videos and there screens of...

    More BMS shenanigans

...Explorer out of the rain today and after I parked I got one of those "Remote Features Disabled" notifications on the Ford app. Checked with Forscan Lite and the battery SOC was 32%? Since when? It'd had been hovering around 70%+. Anyway, drove to the gym later on in the afternoon and...

    Adaptive Headlights question

That has to do with the fog lights. If you’re Turing right, right fog light turns out automatically, vice versa for left. Not the same as adaptive headlights.

    Adaptive Headlights question

...turn it off has been identified for 25+ yet 2025+ Ford Explorer Spreadsheet now available! | Explorer ST Forum On the 20-24, no trim level has it activated from the factory. It's a pre-configured menu item in ForScan those years. It's in the BCM listed as "Fog lights as cornering lights"

    Adaptive Headlights question

So will it be activated already on my '26?

    Adaptive Headlights question

That’s can actually be enabled/disabled via Forscan, even for the ‘20-24s. I think it’s called “cornering lighting” or something like that. The Platnium Adaptive headlights themselves actually move to adjust based on road conditions...

ABS profile "police" brakes - forscan

...differ based on different performance potential as you don't want the system too be too sensitive. So i'm speculating the differences in the forScan programming are long the same lines tweaking the code for difference such as weight of vehicle, brake type, etc. Intrigued at what those...

ABS profile "police" brakes - forscan

Does anyone have insight into the ABS brakes settings, under the abs module coding? there is a calibration for "police", any real answer on the difference between that and the ST cal? The police interceptors have the same brake system size, only a changed pad which is still used and available...

Speaker sizes for 14 speaker system…

...like an LC2i since this I assume will be a passive system. That will let you run a 4 channel for the doors and mono for the sub. Just use Forscan to flatten the oem signal. Take the money you had earmarked for the d pillars and 8” sub and put that towards some basic sound treatments for the...

FORScan: How to disable Cornering Lights (but keep Auto-Lighting)?

...Ensure that if the fog lights are on, they both operate at the same time (no more "one-eye" look). Has anyone successfully done this via FORScan? If you have the specific module (BdyCM?) and the lines of code or the "easy mode" setting names, I would really appreciate the help! Thanks in...

Guide - Fixing AWD module ground.

You might try just tightening the bolts on the module or backing them off and tiretightening them a few times and see if that’s good for a while before you can make time to do a better fix
