Does anyone have insight into the ABS brakes settings, under the abs module coding? there is a calibration for "police", any real answer on the difference between that and the ST cal?

The police interceptors have the same brake system size, only a changed pad which is still used and available as the "street pack" and used on some of the aviators(at least in the partsbook).

anyone aware of what this changes?

Relating experience from other vehicles...I've seen ABS systems have different programming related to different brake rotor diameters available on a vehicle and "predictive lockup". It makes sense this variable would differ based on different performance potential as you don't want the system too be too sensitive.

So i'm speculating the differences in the forScan programming are long the same lines tweaking the code for difference such as weight of vehicle, brake type, etc.

Intrigued at what those differences are now, but I doubt anyone outside of Ford would have that info. One method you could used is to hop on Ebay or auction sites and pull VIN's of vehicles with specific features you want to compare. You can get the as_built from Ford by plugging in that vehicles VIN and then comparing that line of code to see what it's set at. You can do this for a number of vehicles and then see if any specific trends start to appear.
