    Stock fuel system e85 tuning

WTF? What beverage were you consuming when you added this informative post?

    Stock fuel system e85 tuning

We're not talking about merely closed loop stoichiometric fuel adjustments. The conversation is about dealing with timing, boost, and fuel enrichment when you're using fuels with varying amounts of ethanol/gasoline mixture to enhance performance, not merely to detect stoich. In general, to do...

    Coilovers anyone ?

"Coilovers" covers a lot of ground. Will they be height adjustable? Adjustable rebound dampening? Adjustable compression dampening- High and low speed? Remote reservoir? More details, please.

    Stock fuel system e85 tuning

I'm very curious as to how you would truly achieve what you're posting. From what I have researched (correct me if I'm wrong), there are no ethanol fuel content sensors aboard the ST. It would also mean that the factory ECU would have to provide overlay maps for interpolation of the content to...

Need some opinions on Burger Tuning JB4 vs Racechip GTS

Forget the Racechip- it's snake oil. I doesn't look like the JB4 supports the ST platform, but you wouldn't be able to move it to any other vehicle other than another ST or explorer with the same electrical connectors even were it available. The JB4 at least can do something- it's basically a...

    DEBUT ONE-OF-A KIND EXTREME ST

Thanks for that!. I remember that user buying the calipers, but as I haven't seen anything from him since, I wasn't sure whether it ever worked.

    DEBUT ONE-OF-A KIND EXTREME ST

Thanks, that's good to know. I've followed all the braking threads, but never did see anyone else who did the Brembo package and made it fit with the stock wheels. I searched and couldn't find it. Do you remember?

    OEM turbo specs

Max boost is moot. You'd need a compressor map and a turbine exhaust flow chart. Very hard to come by on an OEM turbo.

    DEBUT ONE-OF-A KIND EXTREME ST

That's a valid point. What kind of front spaces would be required to duplicate your Brembo package?

    DEBUT ONE-OF-A KIND EXTREME ST

Wouldn't it be nice if that was some kind of bolt on option? While I'm wishing, if they could fit the stock 21"s? The problem with the Racing Brake/Brembo alternatives is that you then have to buy another set of wheels to fit them.

    DEBUT ONE-OF-A KIND EXTREME ST

    And I found another: https://www.thedrive.com/news/42061/ford-built-a-caged-explorer-st-with-gt500-brakes-and-pilot-sport-cup-2-tires

Maybe I'm not following the link correctly, but where does it say anything about HP Tuners?

    Gas splash back when refueling?

IMO your dealer is not diagnosing this problem correctly. A build up of pressure like that has to be in the evap system, not the fuel neck or tank. I'm assuming it's not throwing any codes for the purge solenoid or tank pressure sensor. I'd be looking for a kink in the line from the tank to...

    Driver's Side Window Issue

That's pretty slick. I had no idea they had that sort of adaptivity built in. Kudos on the find.

    Driver's Side Window Issue

While the chrome peeling off doesn't have anything to do with the "switch", the switch could also be the culprit. As far as that goes, it could also be the motor. A good tech will probably replace everything.

    Driver's Side Window Issue

There is something out of alignment. The electric motors are designed to retract the window when it faces an obstruction so it doesn't (for example) pinch some kid's neck. Take it in and have them check for binding.

    4wd temporarily disabled

In sport mode, it locks up the FWD when accelerating and unlocks when decelerating- all of which makes perfect sense if you're on a racetrack. It also explains why heat would build up with the wet clutches in the transfer case during a long drive in hilly terrain (I didn't assume offroad). I...

    4wd temporarily disabled

If you look at the "awd animation" in the various modes, you'll see it's engaging the FWD clutches more in Sport mode than in Normal or Tow modes. So there is a lot more engagement/disengagement of the clutches. That would definitely lead to more heat IMO. I doubt anyone drove around in the...

Curious what mode you were in? Sport? Tow?

    2021 Explorer ST Headlights

It's obviously haunted. Poltergeists have taken over. Sell it immediately. The very fact that non-moving headlights move is proof of supernatural behavior.
