Per Ford, No future upgrades to Bluecruise

It really works well. It keeps me sane in daily traffic. My 2019 edge wasn’t near as smooth braking and following. This thing is great.

Per Ford, No future upgrades to Bluecruise

I guess I still don’t understand what else it does? I went into this thinking it didn’t do self lane change but it does which is was gladly surprised it. I mean I guess it doesn’t turn the blinker itself, but once you bump it it keeps the blinker on until it finishes the change. And it drives...

Per Ford, No future upgrades to Bluecruise

I've only used it once, but it was about 75 miles on I-20/59 in north Miss and Alabama. It worked fine. I set it at 80, and use the blinker to auto-change lanes. What else does it need to do, or is it missing? I use the adaptive stop and go cruise daily on my way home, due to crappy traffic, and...

2021 ST, One of the best vehicles I have owned

Look, we all get that they are fast, but Tesla interiors are trash, and that make-noise nonsense is ridiculous. We bought these cars for a reason. And yeah, drag race me a few times and turn your heater off to make it home, I'll enjoy my 20-gallon tank. Nothing battery-powered compares to...

    Fuel octane?

These debates always amuse me. They were common in Mustang forums too. To get Ford's advertised power, run the highest octane you can. People buy models with GT, ST, or Sport in the name, then complain about cents per gallon. I'm not aiming this at anyone here, I just don't get it. I haven't run...

2026 Ford Explorer Replaces Vista Roof With Fixed Glass Option

I don't want them, and I'm glad they're not there. I've experienced the frustration of having the Ford electric roof top window shade fail when the clips fall out. It took a Lincoln dealer two months and three attempts to get it working again. It's a frustrating feature that I don't want. Dont...

    40-55 mph pulse vibration

Agree. My 6spd in the 2012 F150 was fine; it was tuned too. Just helped its shifting some but it was a tank. My 2021 GT with the 10R80 was hit or miss. In sport, it shifted really hard. So far this 10r60 in 2025 has been great. Smooth, almost feels like a CVT at times, which was their goal, I...

    40-55 mph pulse vibration

I think they went through some rough patches, especially in introducing their 10spd transmissions and getting the PTUs to where they needed to be. My 8spd in the 2019 was OK, not great. The PTU had no drain plug LMAO.

    40-55 mph pulse vibration

Ive seen this on my 2012 F150, 2017 Expedition and my 2019 Edge ST AWD. Not sure if it's these aluminum driveshafts or what, but it is a recurring issue.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

I added a standard FP hitch cover. I wasn't impressed with some of the 3D-printed options on Amazon; the red didn't match, and the way they clip in would likely cause rattling. The more stylish ones cost $400 to $500, which seems overpriced, especially since I just bought a new range for $1,500...

    2025 Oil Capacity

Another interesting test, I think, would be UOA's. If your oil level and driving habits are causing starvation, would you not see an increase in the wear material from the bearing? I just sent in my first analysis, and will be doing several more as the motor gets some miles.

What’s everyone getting for fuel economy?

I run the AEM dry filters. They definitely allow more airflow (and yes, a bit more dirt), but I’m not expecting horsepower gains or mpg from them. These engines already pick up close to 100 HP from a simple tune — exhausts and CAIs are basically wasted money under normal driving conditions. I’ve...

    Which exhaust (need recommendations)

I’d agree — depending on how much noise you want, it may be a little on the quiet side. Cold start: Perfect for me. It fires up with a nice bark, then settles into a clean idle. After two Mustangs with full 3" exhausts, my neighbors probably like me better now (maybe). Easy acceleration from...

What’s everyone getting for fuel economy?

I used Sport for the first tiem today, the whole way. It drives so much better than Normal. Half my drive is over 60mph, so it made 10th gear anyways. The engine braking when coming to a stop isnt nearly as aggressive as my Edge ST 6 speed. The 10r60 in mine has been a smooth shifter so far. Ill...

What’s everyone getting for fuel economy?

I think higher mpg would just be a symptom of my skinny foot doing less in the 4 banger lol.
