How are you checking your engine oil?

I'm running 1/2 qt additional and checking after it's been sitting all night. Mine is right around where your cold mark is.

    ZFG Racing Tune Review

That makes sense. I’ve run her to 135 and she just keeps climbing.

    ZFG Racing Tune Review

I’ve been back and forth on the plugs. And while I understand Adam saying sport isn’t meant for daily. It sure is fun lol.

    ZFG Racing Tune Review

It's fun lol. But it can be overkill. I am gonna try normal again for a while, and see how I adapt back.

    ZFG Racing Tune Review

I decided to run it in Normal mode on the way home from work today. Honestly, I think I like the shifting better, but it’s going to take some time to get used to after driving in Sport all the time—especially when it comes to pedal input. I’m sure Normal is easier on everything overall, since...

    ZFG Racing Tune Review

I’ve owned one 6-speed, two 8-speeds, and this is my second 10-speed (F-150, two Edge STs, one Mustang, and now the Explorer). In my experience, the oddball shifts are pretty similar across them—at least with the 8- and 10-speeds. The 6-speed was different, but the 8-speeds can be quirky as...

    ZFG Racing Tune Review

It took mine a good two weeks to really settle in. Since I spend 100% of my time in Sport mode, there was definitely an adjustment period for my pedal input—how much I press it depending on RPM, turning, and what I want the car to do. I had to learn to be much lighter on the pedal, because even...

New to the Forum, but had my ST for a while now.

Nice to see the miles. On forums we only tend to get convo about making them look better, making them faster, or how much they have broken down lol.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

The Summer Mich and Conti's have always been good to me. Just always realize if its under 40 degrees that day, to take it easy. Thats all I ran on my mustangs and edge ST, and will continue with the Explorer once I make a tire/wheel/lowering decision.

Disable Auto Start/Stop on 2025 Explorer ST

I can vouch that I have used AE on four different vehicles, and they have been great.

    Rear Sway Bar Feel

It helps for sure. I have sharp curve I take every morning, gained about 10mph by adding the sway bar. I have noticed, if you turn too far on the wheel, it will dig in more and over steer you in that direction, so it took a little getting used to.

    Lowering Spring Change up.

After all of the reading, it seems consistent. For me, I want the smallest drop because I think the stance is nice now. So I'll prob go Steeda, just to keep it around 1".

    Car Battery Recommendations?

We have a local chain that sells all types. I just make sure it's one of the big three or whatever American-made brands, and it's an AGM obviously. It's usually Deka(east penn) if I can choose.

    ZFG Racing Tune Review

On my ZFG tune, its a hard 1-2 only when you are in it drag race style. She will bark the tires lol.

    Velgen VF9 22x10.5

I'm seriously thinking about the Bronze 5 spoke 22's on mine, but it'll be a while before I spend that money lol.

    ZFG Racing Tune Review

Only complaint about the app, and I put it in the first post. The logger takes way too long.

Window sticker not showing the ST SUV experience

It's not. I waitlisted last month: " ST SUV Experience has concluded for 2025 Please signup on our waitlist to be notified about the 2026 season. Registration for owners of the 2025 model-year Explorer ST will begin in January 2026. "

    ZFG Racing Tune Review

Yeah, I pulled over kinda on the side of a 4 lane. Hit start logging, waited for all this nonsense to happen, and when it was finally logging, I got out and did my run.
